摘要: Systems and methods for supporting Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) transmissions of reduced bandwidth User Equipments (UEs) to efficiently coexist with regular UEs in a network. In some embodiments, a method performed by a UE comprises obtaining a PUCCH configuration for reduced bandwidth UEs wherein there is a dependency between the PUCCH configuration for reduced bandwidth UEs and a PUCCH configuration for non-reduced bandwidth UEs. The method further comprises transmitting a PUCCH in accordance with the PUCCH configuration for reduced bandwidth UEs.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for synchronizing one or more radio devices with a radio access node. A method of providing synchronization with a radio access node for radio communication to one or more radio devices is disclosed. The method comprises or triggers transmitting a configuration message to at least one of the radio devices, where the configuration message is indicative of a synchronization signal configuration for a configurable synchronization signal. The method further comprises or triggers transmitting the configurable synchronization signal to the at least one radio device in accordance with the synchronization signal configuration and communicating one or more decodable signals between the radio access node and the at least one radio device using radio resources in accordance with the configurable synchronization signal. A corresponding method of synchronizing the radio device with the radio access node for radio communication is disclosed.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a user equipment (UE) and a method in the UE are disclosed. The UE is served by a cell managed or served by a network node. The UE comprises processing circuitry, a transceiver coupled to the processing circuitry, and memory containing instructions executable by the processing circuitry. The UE is operative to determine that a center frequency of a radio frequency (RF) reception bandwidth of the UE is different than a center frequency of a RF transmission bandwidth of the cell serving the UE. The UE is further operative to receive a signal from the cell serving the UE over a center subcarrier within the RF reception bandwidth of the UE, and puncture a portion of the signal received over the center subcarrier within the RF reception bandwidth of the UE.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to the use of a Device-to-Device (D2D) sidelink, e.g., in a licensed spectrum, to assist with clear channel assessment in an unlicensed spectrum. In doing so, the hidden node problem and/or the exposed node problem can be mitigated. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device in a cellular communications network comprises performing a sidelink-assisted clear channel assessment (SLA-CCA) procedure to determine whether to transmit on an unlicensed channel. The SLA-CCA procedure is a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) procedure that is assisted by information received by the wireless device from one or more other wireless devices over a D2D sidelink in a licensed spectrum. The method further comprises, upon determining to transmit on the unlicensed channel as a result of performing the SLA-CCA procedure, transmitting a transmission on the unlicensed channel.

An example method includes forming (810) a resource pattern, the resource pattern indicating an allocation of first radio resources in a first cell to a first type of wireless device and indicating an allocation of second radio resources in the first cell to a second type of wireless device. The resource pattern is sent (820) to a second network node of the wireless communication system, e.g., a network node serving a neighboring cell, or to at least one wireless device, or to both. The resource pattern may be used in scheduling by the first network node or the second network node, or both.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to the use of signals in a licensed spectrum to assist with determining a status of an unlicensed channel(s) in an unlicensed spectrum. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device in a wireless system in which the wireless device transmits and/or receives in both a licensed spectrum and an unlicensed spectrum comprises attempting to detect a busy indication transmitted in the licensed spectrum. The busy indication is an indication that another wireless device is transmitting in the unlicensed spectrum. The method further comprises determining whether to transmit in the unlicensed spectrum based on whether the wireless device has detected a busy indication transmitted in the licensed spectrum. By using signals in the licensed spectrum, the hidden node problem and/or the exposed node problem in the unlicensed spectrum can be mitigated.

摘要: Decoding of a first message is disclosed, wherein first and second messages are encoded by a code (represented by a state machine) to produce first and second code words, which are received over a communication channel. A plurality of differences (each corresponding to a hypothesized value of a part of the first message) between the first and second messages are hypothesized. An initial code word segment is selected having, as associated previous states, a plurality of initial states (each associated with a hypothesized difference and uniquely defined by the hypothesized value of the part of the first message). The first message is decoded by (for each code word segment, starting with the initial code word segment): combining the code word segment of the first code word with a transformed (based on the hypothesized difference of the initial state associated with the previous state of the state transition corresponding to a first message segment content) code word segment of the second code word to produce a combined code word segment, determining a decision metric associated with a probability that the combined code word segment corresponds to the first message segment content, and selecting (for the first message) the first message segment content or a second message segment content based on the decision metric. If the first message segment content is selected, the subsequent state of the state transition corresponding to the first message segment content is associated with the initial state associated with the previous state of the state transition.

In one embodiment, a wireless device (WD) is configured to determine a deployment alternative for a resynchronization signal (RSS) in the radio network, the determining of the deployment alternative including determining whether a time-frequency resource used for an the RSS in a second cell in the radio network is a same time-frequency resource as a time-frequency resource used for the RSS in the first cell. The WD is also configured to determine information about the RSS time-frequency resource used in the second cell in the radio network based at least in part on the determined deployment alternative, and to detect the RSS in the second cell using the determined information about the RSS time-frequency resource used for the RSS in the second cell.
