The wireless mobile terminal includes a printed circuit board, an antenna element including a first portion and a second portion formed almost parallel to each other, the first portion and the second portion arranged almost parallel to the printed circuit board each, and a plane-shaped piece of magnetic material provided between the first portion and the second portion, the magnetic material arranged almost parallel to the printed circuit board, the magnetic material arranged almost parallel to the first portion and the second portion.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine; an exhaust gas recirculation device; and a controller that controls the internal combustion engine and the exhaust gas recirculation device. When acceleration of the vehicle is greater than or equal to zero and is less than or equal to a predetermined acceleration, an ignition performed with a predetermined energy and a predetermined number of times of performance that enable the internal combustion engine to efficiently operate for one event of explosion and combustion of the internal combustion engine. When the acceleration of the vehicle is greater than the predetermined acceleration, the ignition performed with an energy that is greater than the predetermined energy and/or a number of times of performance that is greater than the predetermined number of times of performance for one event of explosion and combustion of the internal combustion engine.
Abstract:
An antenna device arranged around a printed circuit board is provided. The antenna device has an antenna element connected to a feeder circuit provided on the printed board. The antenna device has an isolating material provided between the antenna element and the substrate material. The isolating material is constituted by an insulating substrate material and a plurality of pieces of magnetic material provided on the substrate material Adjacent ones of the pieces of the magnetic material are arranged separate from each other.
Abstract:
When using an acrylic resin with a refractive index of 1.494, for example, the structure of the Fresnel lens is such that in a segment where a deviation angle of 19.5° or less is required, refraction-only prisms which do not cause any reflections are used, while in a segment where a deviation angle of 31.0° or larger is required, single-step total reflection prisms in which light is totally internally reflected once and then refracted are used and, in a segment where a deviation angle not smaller than 19.5° but not larger than 31.0° is required, two-step total reflection prisms in which light is totally internally reflected twice and then refracted are used.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus which provide solutions for avoiding journal overflow in after and before journal methods of a backup and recovery system used with a storage system. The after journal method solutions, which are conducted when the amount of free space reaches a threshold, include periodically taking a new snapshot and deleting the oldest journal, periodically taking a new logical snapshot and deleting the oldest journal, stopping the taking journal entries when the journal volume is full, and stopping the taking journal entries when the journal volume is full and then switching to bitmap management. The before journal method solution, which is conducted when the amount of free space reaches a threshold, includes applying wrap-around overwriting to overwrite the oldest journal entry by the newest journal entry.
Abstract:
A storage system maintains a journal and a snapshot of one or more data volumes. Two journal entry types are maintained, an AFTER journal entry and a BEFORE journal entry. Two modes of data recovery are provided: “fast” recovery and “undo-able” recovery. A combination of both recovery modes allows the user to quickly recover a targeted data state.

Abstract:
An antenna includes an antenna element, and a first magnetic body which is arranged at least a part of the antenna element and has positive magnetostrictive characteristics.
Abstract:
The invention provides a radio device in which multi-resonance promotion and impedance adjustment can be readily performed and a restriction in a mounting space can be dissolved, and an electronic apparatus having the same installed therein. Provision of a stub (123) having a large area and serving as a frequency matching portion as well in a folded monopole antenna (120) results in that a conductor area can be increased, and a resonance frequency can be shifted to lower frequencies. In addition, a frequency of a radio communication antenna can be readily adjusted because the resonance frequency is adjusted by cutting the stub (123).
