Abstract:
The invention provides a spectroscope that provides variable masks 24a and 24b that limits the light path of separated light beams in the spectrum direction and composite masks 24c and 24d that limit the same in the perpendicular direction. In addition, the invention provides a confocal scanning microscope that equipped with this spectroscope.
Abstract:
When a data communication apparatus as a sender gateway receives instruction information for instructing a communication system via ITU recommendation T.38 or a communication system via ITU recommendation T.37 from a sender facsimile apparatus as an analogue communication terminal, data communication is executed with respect to a recipient connected gateway on the basis of the communication system instructed by the instruction information.
Abstract:
In an Internet facsimile apparatus, it is an object of the invention to provide means for notifying the user of details of a message disposition notification situation (MDN) of a transmission image. When E-mail data is sent, an MDN for E-mail to be sent is requested and communication management information of the sent E-mail is updated on the basis of a reception result of reply E-mail responsive to the MDN request.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus transmitting a subaddress signal includes an extension number input block for inputting a plurality of extension numbers, a second telephone number input block for inputting a plurality of secondary telephone numbers, and a direct input block for inputting particular information through numeric keys, an asterisk (*) key and a sharp (#) key. When the subaddress signal is directly input in the facsimile transmission, with one of the symbols # and ## input and the subaddress signal happens to coincide with the definition of the signal specified in the ITU-T Recommendation T. 33, an operator checks to see whether the transmission of the signal complied with the signal format of the ITU-T Recommendation T. 33 is selected. The facsimile transmission is thus performed as the operator intends.
Abstract:
It enables to shorten a communication time for both-side transmission in a case where an original document includes such information of the one side as being blank, and further to perform, on a reception side, both-side recording intended by a transmission side even if the order of pages to be transmitted is changed or even if the front and/or back sides of the original document are took out and put in.When page data including image data of either one of front and back sides of the original document is transmitted and received, a transmitter adds, to the page data to be transmitted, attribute data of at least a page counter (PC) representing the number of pages of the real original document, information (SIDE) representing whether the front side or the back side of the original document, and virtual page number data (VPC) synchronous with transmission order of the page data, and then transmits the page data added with the attribute data, and a receiver side image-records the received page data to both sides of a recording paper, on the basis of the transmitted attribute data of the page counter (PC) representing the number of pages of the real original document and the information (SIDE) representing whether the front side or the back side of the original document.
Abstract:
In an image communication apparatus for communicating a color image with a distant apparatus according to the ITU-T recommendations upon line connection, an original image is read by a scanner unit, and the size of the read original image is identified. If the identified size of the original image is smaller than the page size defined by the ITU-U recommendation, image data is generated by reading the original image upon adding invalid data to the original image to make it have a main scanning length equal to the main scanning length of the minimum page size defined by the ITU-T recommendation in reading the original image through the scanner unit, and the image data is compressed by a JPEG compressing unit and transmitted. In this case, the valid image area of the compressed data is set in accordance with the size of the original image. This allows the receiving side to read only the valid image area, decode the valid image area, and reproduce the image.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a communication apparatus designed to assure the execution of ring type multi-address data transmission. In order to ensure that a user see a received image, transfer to a next station is not carried out until the receive Image is printed out With the passage of specified time after the reception of the image, transfer is executed to the next station.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus and its control method which assure an execution of a polling communication in a state that an ECM transmit inhibition is selected while an ECM receive inhibition is not selected for communications in the ITU-T Recommendation V.8, V.21, V.27ter, V.29, V.17, or V.34, by executing a V.17 or lower transmission without executing a V.34 transmission if the ECM transmit inhibition is selected, by executing a V.17 or lower reception without executing a V.34 reception if the ECM receive inhibition is selected, and by executing a V.8 protocol for a reception so as to execute a V.34 reception if it is a receive operation or to shift to a V.17 or lower polling transmission if it is a polling operation and executing a V.17 or lower transmission for a transmission in a state that the ECM transmit inhibition is selected while the ECM receive inhibition is not selected.
Abstract:
An objective lens includes a first lens unit constructed with a plurality of single lenses, having a negative power as a whole, and a second lens unit constructed with a plurality of single lenses, arranged on the object side of the first lens unit. Each of the first and second lens units is provided with air spaces between positive and negative lenses of different media and has at least one pair of lenses designed to satisfy all the following conditions when the parfocal distance of the objective lens is denoted by L (mm), an air apace by d (mm), the radius of curvature of a lens surface with a positive power opposite to the air space by Rp, and the radius of curvature of a lens surface with a negative power opposite to the air space by Rn, and in addition to the pair of lenses, the second lens unit has at least one single positive biconvex lens and at least one single positive meniscus lens, and thereby it becomes possible to correct chromatic aberration and to favorably obtain resolution corresponding to a high numerical aperture and a wavelength used: 0.01
Abstract:
A CI signal of a V.8 protocol is transmitted in response to the reception of a DIS signal indicating the provision of a V.8 facility, and the V.8 protocol is executed in response to the reception of an ANSam signal of V.8, and when the DIS signal indicating the provision of the V.8 facility is received without receiving the ANSam signal, the CI signal is retransmitted. When a transmitting station or a receiving station does not have a V.34 facility after the V.8 protocol, the DIS signal indicating the non-provision of the V.8 facility is transmitted. Thus, when the V.8 protocol facility is provided with a facsimile apparatus, communication with a conventional apparatus having only a T.30 protocol is attained.
