摘要： A connector including a connector housing having at least one terminal receiving chamber and a lock lance provided in the terminal receiving chamber for locking a terminal to prevent the terminal from coming off from the terminal receiving chamber, and a front holder inserted from a holder insertion port formed at a front end of the connector housing so that a forward end portion of the front holder is plugged into a bending space of the lock lance to thereby prevent the lock lance from bending in a direction of disengagement. In the connector, the front holder is designed so as to be positioned selectively in a normal lock position where the forward end portion is plugged into the bending space of the lock lance or in a temporary lock position where the forward end portion is not plugged. Also, the front holder has a terminal contact portion which constitutes a portion of a circumferential wall of the terminal receiving chamber when the front holder is in the normal lock position, and a jig insertion slot provided in an outside surface of the terminal contact portion so as to extend from one end on a side of the holder insertion port to the other end on a side of the lock lance.

摘要： A connector with a double retaining mechanism which allows a cover member closing operation to be performed reliably as well as easily without providing a hinge portion, and allows a connecting terminal accommodated in a terminal accommodating chamber to be doubly retained reliably by a cover member. A connector with a double retaining mechanism allows a female terminal to be unreleasably retained by a release preventing lance with the female terminal inserted into a terminal accommodating chamber formed in a housing. When a cover member that covers an opening in the rear of the terminal accommodating chamber closes a rear portion of the housing, coupling portions arranged on a base end portion of the cover member are cut off while twisted. At this time, a claw arranged on the base end portion of the cover member retains the female terminal in an axial direction while confronting the inner surface of an upper wall, further, retaining lock arms arranged in the rear of the cover member are retained by engaging portions of the housing.

The restricting member is provided on the lamp unit, and restricts a movement of the elastic fixing member in a mounting and dismounting direction of the engagement portion relative to the mounting panel. The restricting member has an escape portion which allows a movement of the elastic fixing member toward the lamp unit.

A standing mechanism (50) is provided between the lever (40) and the second connector (30). The standing mechanism (50) has a function that stands the lever (40) when temporarily fitting both of the connectors (20, 30). An amount of rotation of the lever (40) is secured largely by applying the operation force to the operation portion (43) in a standing state of the lever (40), so as to regularly fit both of the connectors (20, 30).
