    摘要: In a connector equipped with a rear holder, the rear holder in an open state is coupled with a housing of the connector by a fixing belt. A rear holder mounting device is provided with a cutter and slide bar. The cutter is moved to cut the fixing belt. The slide bar is moved to close the rear holder so that the rear holder is engaged in the housing. Thus, working before mounting the rear holder in the connector can be smoothly carried out. The rear holder, without being damaged or deformed, can be easily mounted in the connector.

    摘要: An insulating base plate 113 of a housing 11 includes an upper plate portion 114, a lower plate portion 115, and reinforcing plate portions 116 are formed on and extend between the upper and lower plate portions 114 and 115, and are disposed respectively at those portions of the upper and lower plate portions corresponding respectively to positions where wires of a wire harness W are press-connected to respective terminals. With this construction, the weight of the housing can be reduced because of the provision of hollow portions 117. And besides, since the reinforcing plate portions 116 are formed at those portions of the insulating base plate corresponding respectively to the positions where the wires of the wire harness W are press-connected to the respective terminals, the press-connecting operation can be carried out in a stable manner without flexing the insulating base plate 113. Therefore, the press-connecting metal terminals 13 will not be displaced upward and downward, and each wire of the wire harness W is prevented from being disposed out of alignment with the associated press-connecting metal terminal 13.

A wire core portion (25) is crimped to the electrical terminal (4) between the crimper (2) and the anvil (5). Then, the auxiliary punch (8) strikes out a crimped portion (21) to form a concave portion (27) in the state that the crimped portion (21) is compressed by the crimper (2) and the anvil (5).

    摘要: Connectors with a lever in which a pair of male and female connectors are mated with and disconnected from each other by rotating the lever. The lever having cam grooves and a lock portion is rotatably attached to the female connector. Cam pins are attached to the male connector. When both connectors are initially mated with each other, the cam pins engage with the cam grooves, and when the lever is rotated in a direction in which both connectors are mated with each other, the male connector moves toward the female connector. An elastic locking member is interposed between the lever and the female connector. An operational portion, reverse spring portions for urging the lever toward a direction opposite to that in which both connectors are mated, and lock spring portions to be engaged with the lock portion of the lever so as to maintain the lever in a locked position, are all integrally formed in the elastic locking member. The elastic locking member is elastically displaced by pressing the operational portion so as to disengage the lock portion of the lever from the lock spring portions of the elastic locking member. The reverse spring portions retain the lever in the released position. The locking member for locking the lever and the reverse spring portions for retaining the lever in a released position are integrally formed.

    摘要: According to the present invention, cam grooves are formed in a lower surface of a rotation plate of a cam member, and are disposed symmetrically with respect to a rotation shaft. A rotation retaining plate is mounted on a distal end of the rotation shaft. A pair of housing have cam follower pins, respectively, which are engaged in the cam grooves, respectively. One housing has a pin guide groove which guides the rotation shaft and the cam follower pin. A flexible lock member having a lock release projection is provided at an introduction groove of one cam groove in the rotation plate. Upon the initial fitting of the pair of housings, the cam follower pin is engaged with the lock release projection to release the locking of the rotation plate by the flexible lock member, thereby allowing the angular movement of the cam member.

Therefore the operator can easily confirm the locked state of the lever with eye. Also, the facility with which the connector is designed and manufactured is improved.

    摘要: The wire insulator pressure-cut connector terminal comprises a base plate formed integral with at least one cutter plate portion with a cutting open slot and a first terminal contact end portion, and a terminal box formed integral with a partially U-shaped section housing portion for housing the base plate and a second terminal contact end portion for constructing a female terminal contact end portion in cooperation with the first terminal contact end portion of the base plate. Since the base plate formed with the cutter plate portion and the terminal box formed with the terminal contact end portion are made of different materials with different thicknesses, respectively, it is possible to freely provide a sufficient rigidness for the cutter plate and a preferable elasticity for the terminal contact end, independently, according to the diameter and the material of the wire insulator.
