Described are techniques for providing, a quality of service (QoS) update from a control plane of a base station to a user plane of the base station based on a QoS event, wherein the QoS update includes information indicative of a mapping between a QoS flow and corresponding radio resources for user data transmission, storing, at the user plane, the mapping between the QoS flow and the radio resources, receiving, at the user plane, a downstream data packet of the QoS flow from a core network, and transmitting the downstream data packet in a downlink direction using the corresponding radio resources.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices related to the management of bandwidth parts (BWPs) by a user equipment (UE) or a base station are disclosed. In one exemplary aspect, a method for wireless communication includes establishing, at a mobile device, a network connection with a first cell; receiving, at a mobile device, a message indicating an activation of a second cell and a first bandwidth part to be used by the mobile device upon the activation of the second cell, wherein a bandwidth part represents a logical grouping of frequency bandwidth of a cell; performing, based on the message, a random access process with the second cell using the first bandwidth part; and switching to a second bandwidth part of the second cell when the random access process fails.

A method, device and system for controlling assistant information of user equipment are disclosed. The field of wireless communication technology is related, and the problem is solved that the system efficiency is reduced, for UE reports the assistant information inappropriately. The method includes: the user equipment acquiring a control parameter of assistant information configured by a network side; and the user equipment reporting the assistant information of the user equipment to the network side according to the control parameter of assistant information. The technical scheme provided in the example of the present document is applied to a LTE system or a UMTS system, which implements that the network side controls the UE reporting the assistant information.

Methods, systems, and devices for dual connectivity and carrier aggregation enhancement schemes in wireless communication are described. In one aspect, a wireless communication method is provided, which includes receiving by a user device, from a network device, an indication indicating i) whether a recovery operation for a first cell group failure is allowed and selectively indicating ii) an available transmission path for the recovery operation; upon a detection of the first cell group failure, determining a transmission path for transmitting failure information based on the received indication; and transmitting the failure information based on the determining.

Disclosed are a radio resource configuration method and apparatus, a user equipment and a network element. The radio resource configuration method includes that: a user equipment (UE) receives a message of a radio resource configuration from a first signaling radio bearer (SRB) of a first radio access technology (RAT), where the message carries information of a first configuration, and the first configuration is a configuration of a radio resource of the first RAT; and when the UE fails to configure the radio resource of the first RAT according to the information of the first configuration, the UE sends a response message of the radio resource configuration to indicate that the radio resource configuration of the first RAT fails.

Provided are a method for managing a link connection between nodes and related devices. The method includes: a first mobile node setting up link connections with a plurality of peer network nodes separately through a network interface setup process; wherein setting up the link connections with the plurality of peer network nodes separately through the network interface setup process includes: the first mobile node dividing a plurality of local serving cells subordinate to the first mobile node into a plurality of local cell sets; and the first mobile node initiating setup processes of link connections with at least two of the plurality of peer network nodes over respective network interfaces of each local cell set of the plurality of local cell sets, and exchanging configuration information with the at least two of the plurality of peer network nodes mutually.

In the method for acquiring information, a first node receives a message transmitted by a second node, where the message is related to a cell group of the second node, each cell group includes one or more cells, and each cell belongs to a same wideband carrier. The first node acquires information on a cell under the second node from the message, that is, information on a cell in the each cell group.
