摘要: A clamping device for releasably holding a tool holder shank is formed with an engagement bore in a rear end. The clamping device includes a housing having a mounting bore for receiving the tool holder shank; a drawbar being mounted reciprocally movable inside the housing and which in a forward end is provided with an engagement segment which is arranged to engage with an engagement formation inside the engagement bore of the tool holder shank, wherein the drawbar is in a rear portion formed with a drawbar aperture extending through the drawbar, and a cam shaft extending through the drawbar aperture and comprising a cam formation. The cam shaft is rotatably journalled in the housing and arranged to impart an axial displacement to the drawbar in relation to the housing by the cam formation when rotating the cam shaft. The cam shaft includes two identical cam formations, which are spaced apart by a recess, and the drawbar is on the inside of the aperture formed with a ridge on each side of the aperture which each fits in the recess of the cam shaft when rotating the same.

摘要: A drill bit for rock drilling tools includes a drill bit head having a front surface including a face surface defining a forward-most end of the drill bit head. The face surface has an outer edge, a gauge surrounding the face surface, the gauge having an inner edge, and a transition region that extends in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the drill bit between the outer edge of the face surface and the inner edge of the gauge. An entirety of the face surface from which the cutting surfaces extend is non-flat so that a center of the face surface is axially forward of the outer edge of the face surface. The gauge includes a first gauge surface defining a first angle with the longitudinal axis over a first portion of a circumference of the gauge and a second gauge surface defining a second angle with the longitudinal axis over a second portion of the circumference of the gauge.

摘要: A turning insert includes a top surface, an opposite bottom surface, side surfaces connecting the top surface and the bottom surface and two opposite nose portions. Each nose portion includes a convex nose cutting edge, a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge. The convex nose cutting edge connects the first and second cutting edges. A bisector extends equidistantly from the first and second cutting edges. In a top view the first and second cutting edges on the same nose portion form a nose angle (α) of 70-85° relative to each other. Each nose portion includes a third convex cutting edge adjacent to the first cutting edge and a fourth cutting edge adjacent to the third cutting edge. In a top view the fourth cutting edge forms an angle (β) of 0-34° relative to the bisector.

摘要: A twist drill for drilling composite materials includes a shank; a drill body; a drill tip having a cutting edge, a chisel edge, and a secondary chisel edge, wherein the secondary chisel angle of the drill tip is 145° to 165 and the point angle is 70° to 100°; and a flute extending from the drill tip to the drill body. The flute has a constant helix, and the helix angle of the flute being selected from the range 45° to 55°. A method of drilling a composite material comprising fibers uses the twist drill of the present embodiment. Suitably, the composite material is carbon fiber reinforced plastic or glass fiber reinforced plastic, and optionally being a laminate material such that the method comprises stack drilling. Embodiments achieve a combination of good hole quality, good tool life and good hole size spread.
