    摘要： A sports racket frame with improved string holes includes a predetermined number of insertion pins pre-arranged in the molding cavity. The inner wall surface of the molding cavity adjacent to each insertion pin is filled with the fiber cement made of materials identical in quality with those making up the tubular strip used to form the racket frame. The sports racket frame so attained is composed of string holes which are integrally and simultaneously made with the racket frame as a unitary body and are provided with tubular support wall extending along the circumference thereof to reinforce the structural strength of the racket frame.

The steerer assembly may include a laterally extending and downwardly projecting anchor member which is adhered to an inside surface of the unitary component and may be laminated between overlapping wall sections.

Opposing parts of at least two adjacent wall sections are overlapped to form a shell and the overlapped parts are compressed together between an external mold and an internal pressing member, such as an inflatable bladder. The shell is then cured while under compression to provide a pressure molded juncture integrally uniting the wall sections and forming a generally hollow bicycle frame component.

The passages are drilled into the center strip (3) after the frame has been produced and then the frame is strung.

    摘要： Disclosed is an improved bicycle frame of composite materials and a method of molding generally hollow components and assemblies for such a bicycle frame. The entire bicycle frame may be one integrally united piece of molded composite materials, such as unidirectional structural fibers impregnated with a heat curable synthetic resin. Layers of the composite material may be shaped to form an uncured frame shell. This shell is compressed against the surfaces of a mold by an internal pressing member, such as an inflatable bladder routed to the outside through a passageway passing through a modified bottom bracket sleeve or a modified head tube sleeve. The shell is then cured while under compression in the mold.

The frames are made by a method including the use of a special mandrel on which the layers of fiber are wound under controlled conditions providing extra material in the head portion which is formed into the wall of the grooved portion of the head without affecting the overall sectional dimensions of the frame.
