摘要： An olfactory display includes a housing and a plurality of fragrance chambers formed in the housing. In each fragrance chamber, a solid-like fragrance source is accommodated and an airflow source is provided to send air into the fragrance chamber from an air intake port. An auxiliary airflow source that emits odorless air is also provided in the housing. The airflow source and the auxiliary airflow source are operated alternately or simultaneously. In response to a user operating an adjustment knob of a controller, operating time periods and stopping time periods of the airflow source and the auxiliary airflow source are changed, or the number of operating times is changed within a predetermined operating time period. A mixing ratio of the fragrance and the odorless air may also be adjusted by changing a voltage value of an alternating voltage to be applied to a piezoelectric device of the airflow source.

The operation switching mechanism is switched between a first operation mode in which the air passage and the auxiliary passage communicate with each other to introduce the sterilizing mist into the air passage, and a second operation mode in which communication between the air passage and the auxiliary passage is blocked.

摘要： A humidifying apparatus includes a base, a water tank removably mounted on the base for supplying water to a chamber of the base, and a motor-driven impeller for generating an air flow over water stored in the chamber. An ultraviolet radiation emitting lamp irradiates water stored in the chamber. The air flow is humidified with water from the chamber, and conveyed by an outlet duct towards an air outlet for emission from the apparatus. A detachable section of the water tank is opaque to ultraviolet radiation and is positioned over the chamber when the water tank is mounted on the base. The detachable section of the water tank includes an air inlet of the outlet duct and a flange for occluding a peripheral portion of the chamber.
