摘要: The disclosure describes apparatus and method for detecting an endpoint in plasma-assisted wafer processing in a chamber. A fiber array comprising a plurality of fibers collects optical emission light from the chamber during the plasma-assisted wafer processing. The fiber array is split into two or more groups of fibers, each group carrying a portion of the light to a segment of a photodetector. Each segment of photodetector has a corresponding narrowband optical filter designed for a specific range of wavelengths. A computer processor analyzes detected signals from the plurality of segments of the photodetector, and determines, based on the analysis of the detected signals, an endpoint of the plasma-assisted wafer processing as indicated by the presence or the absence of the one or more chemical species in the chamber. The photodetector can be based on photomultiplier tube (PMT) array or based on photodiodes (e.g., avalanche photodiodes (APDs)).

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure include degas equipment and degassing process schemes for providing high throughput extraction of battery cell formation gas. An exemplary method can include loading a battery cell in a sampling chamber of a degas station and creating an opening in the battery cell to release formation gas. A first portion of the formation gas can be routed to a collection chamber of the degas station while the formation gas is prevented from venting. After routing the first portion of the formation gas to the collection chamber, a second portion of the formation gas can be vented until degassing is complete. The first portion of the formation gas can be diluted with a dilution fluid and the diluted first portion of the formation gas can be routed to a cell quality control gas manifold configured to measure battery cell formation gas compositions.

The controller is configured to determine the level of concentration of the gas in the vicinity based on inputs received from the gas sensor, and actuate the indicator based on the detected level of concentration of the gas in the vicinity of the gas.

摘要: A battery monitoring apparatus includes a first air quality sensor to generate a first detection signal indicating a concentration of a first material in an internal space of a battery assembly in which at least one battery cell is positioned, a second air quality sensor to generate a second detection signal indicating a concentration of a second material in the internal space, and a controller to execute a first monitoring mode for collecting the first detection signal in first time series in response to an operation start command. The controller executes a second monitoring mode for collecting the second detection signal in second time series in response to the concentration of the first material indicated by the first detection signal exceeding a first threshold during the execution of the first monitoring mode.
