Abstract:
A device comprises a first portion including a first polymer, and a second portion that is relatively flexible in comparison to the first portion and includes a second polymer that is substantially not bondable to the first polymer. A chamber of the device is hermetically sealable with respect to ambient atmosphere and is defined by (i) an interior of the second portion, and/or (ii) a space formed between the first and second portions. A third portion of the device includes a third polymer that is bondable to the first and second polymers and fixedly secures the first and second portions to each other.
Abstract:
A portable misting device having a body with an internal and fluid holding reservoir. A fill port provides for refilling of the fluid holding reservoir and one or more discharge ports are in fluidic communication with the reservoir. A fluid conveying conduit extends from the discharge port and terminates in an orifice. The orifice typically includes both spray misting and drinking components.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an airless dispensing pump for liquid products. The inventive pump is characterised in that it consists of: a push button comprising a spray nozzle which communicates with a network of channels that is provided locally on the wall of an internal truncated-cone-shaped bore, and a housing. According to the invention, the upper part of the housing comprises a dosing cell having an elastically-deformable wall, which is equipped with an intake valve and topped with a rigid collar for fixing same inside the bore of the aforementioned button. Moreover, the outer periphery of the collar comprises an inclined face which defines a swirl chamber opposite the above-mentioned network, while the inner periphery thereof is quipped with a passage to said chamber.
Abstract:
This invention relates to pump-action dispenser nozzle and methods of making the same. The dispenser nozzles of the invention comprises a body which defines an internal chamber having an inlet through which fluid may be drawn into said chamber and an outlet through which fluid present in the chamber may be expelled from the nozzle. The inlet comprises an inlet valve and the outlet comprises an outlet valve. The body of the dispenser nozzle is made entirely from a rigid or a flexible material. In preferred embodiments it is made from a single material and comprises a single component part. Fluid is dispensed from the dispenser nozzles by resiliently deforming or displacing a portion of the body of the device that defines the chamber, thereby compressing the chamber and actuating the dispensing of fluid. The dispenser nozzle may be adapted to be fitted to a container or integrally formed there with.

Abstract:
A pump for use with a device for containing and dispensing a product may include a single-piece vessel of unitary construction defining a variable-volume chamber. The vessel may include a first wall and a second wall. The pump may include an inlet slit on the first wall, the inlet slit being configured to open one way in response to a decreased pressure in the chamber. The pump may also include an outlet slit on the second wall, the outlet slit being configured to open one way in response to an increased pressure in the chamber. The vessel may be configured to deform from a first position occupying a first volume to a second position occupying a second volume in response to a pressure applied to the vessel. The pump may be used in combination with a container to form a device for containing and dispensing a product.
Abstract:
A pasty product dispenser (1) comprising a body defining a chamber for storing at least one main pasty product and pumping system defined by a wall surmounting the storage chamber and by an intake valve member, the wall carrying on the side of the storage chamber a separator tube enclosing the valve member and comprising passages for at least one secondary pasty product contained between the separator tube and the body, the passages being outside the separator tube, the wall having a rotating cover with traversing apertures, rotation of the cover progressively masks or exposes the passages, the apertures being occluded by the valve member when it is in its low position.
Abstract:
A dispenser for pasty compositions, having a housing within which a piston displaceable in only the direction of emptying is arranged. An actuator enables a headpiece to act on a restorable wall which can be pressed in the direction towards the piston, the headpiece having a dispenser outlet opening. The wall forms an outlet tube the opening of which is coordinated to the outlet opening, and on which opening a stopper is formed which closes the outlet opening. The outlet opening is formed in the front side actuator and the actuator can act on the wall by means of the lever transmission.
Abstract:
A dispenser for a pasty or viscous product such as toothpaste is arranged to operate by peristaltic action of an actuator on a deformable member which is backed by an arcuate reaction face. The actuator is mounted for simple pivotal movement to and fro about spigots when a user-engagement member is operated by a user for dispensing and is subsequently released. An integral resilient tongue on the actuator returns the actuator and user-engagement member to their reset positions. For engaging the deformable member, the actuator has a finger portion attached by an integral hinge and arranged to adopt a rigid condition during each forward, dispensing movement of the actuator and a yielding condition during each backward, resetting movement thereof.
Abstract:
A distributor for pasty products comprises a body having a tubular body (4) with a cylindrical barrel (5), a piston (7) with a flexible flared-out top lip (8) sliding in the barrel (5) and a top carrying an orifice through which the pasty product can pass, and also having a distribution head fixed on the tip. Pasty product is directed and expelled by a suction and compression effect. According to the invention, in order to allow air to be evacuated when the piston is being inserted into the tubular body (4), this body (4) comprises a transverse inner relief (35) having a minimal inside diameter which is 0.5 to 1.5 mm less than the inside diameter of the barrel (5) and, preceding it, a flared-out inlet zone (36) having an engagement diameter at least equal to the outside diameter of the flexible lip (8), the outside diameter of the middle part (40) of the piston (7) being at least 0.4 mm smaller than the minimal inside diameter of the relief (35).
