Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a platform for conveying a plurality of work parts in a sequence of manufacturing stations, the platform being mobile and including an inclined surface, and a set of two elements, one element of the set extending along a first plane and another element of the set extending along a second plane, an intersection of the first plane with the inclined surface defining a first direction, an intersection of the second plane with the inclined surface defining a second direction, the first direction and the second direction delimiting an angular sector, so that a work part placed on the inclined surface within the angular sector is driven by its weight downwards with respect to a slope of the inclined plane towards an intersection of the first direction and the second direction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates generally to the field of sawhorses. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sawhorse device that is primarily comprised of a generally rectangular body further comprised of at least one leg, at least one level bubble, at least one hook, at least one battery, and at least one charging receptacle. The body of the device is preferably sturdy, yet adjustable such that it can create a stable and level working surface on areas of uneven ground. The device may also receive power from a battery or solar panel such that it can power tools that may be used for modifying boards or other objects on the device. In this manner, the device can be used on any construction site to complete the work precisely and efficiently.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel adjustable sawhorse or workpiece support. The device is an adjustable apparatus to assist in various carpentry and other projects. The device has a work surface, four legs, and a gear and crank mechanism to allow for height adjustment. The device also includes hinges or pivots beneath the work surface that allow for angular adjustment of the work surface. Further, the device has a fastener to secure the work surface and allow for easy removal or replacement, if necessary.
Abstract:
Existing fabrication tables are often expensive, immobile, unsafe, and difficult to work with. This invention comprises a modular fabrication table, which is rapidly adaptable to expand over a large surface area, add perpendicular work surfaces, and integrate existing peripheral components that can be purchased at a store. This allows fabrication prototypers to have relatively inexpensive, mobile, sturdy, square, and level tables within which to configure structures for the production of fabrication work pieces.
Abstract:
A system that converts fanfold material into packaging templates includes a converting machine and an outfeed table. The converting machine has a converting assembly that performs conversion functions, such as cutting, creasing, and scoring, on fanfold material as the fanfold material moves through the converting machine. The outfeed table guides the packaging templates out of the converting machine in a first direction. The outfeed table then directs the packaging templates to a user side of the outfeed table so that a user may readily retrieve the packaging templates from the user side of the outfeed table.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a frame having a generally trapezoidal shape with a front side and a back side. The frame includes two pairs of legs in which each pair comprises a top joining rail. A base bar joins the two pairs at bottom ends on the front side. The top joining rails are operable for supporting a hopper of a texture gun. A hinged work surface has is rotatably joined to the frame between the top joining rails. The hinged work surface is rotatable from a first position, where the hinged work surface rests on top of the joining rails, to a second position where the hinged work surface hangs downward between the pairs of legs. A stretcher joins the legs at a distance above the base bar where an open side of the stretcher faces the front side and the distance is chosen to be above typical construction debris.
Abstract:
An adjustable support device (10) for a structure, including an arcuate support bar (26) terminating in feet (28) for engagement with a ground surface. Two spaced apart locking mechanisms (30) are pivotally connected to the structure. The arcuate support bar (26) extends between engagement rods (36a, 36b) of the locking mechanisms (30). The locking mechanisms (30) are pivotally moveable between a first position, in which a stop member (38) prevents further pivotal movement in one direction such that the engagement rods (36a, 36b) are positioned to allow the arcuate support bar (26) to slide freely over the engagement rods (36a, 36b), and a second position, when weight is applied to the locking mechanisms (30). In the second position, the engagement rods (36a, 36b) lock against the arcuate support bar (26) to prevent sliding movement there through for supporting the structure in a required orientation.
Abstract:
A primary work board has upper and lower surfaces. Bearing sleeves depend downwardly from the lower surface. A base has horizontal rods and a vertical rod. A support tube extends laterally from the vertical rod. Vertically extending parallel side walls extend upwardly from the primary work board to form a lower chamber there between. A secondary work board has upper and lower surfaces. Side, front and rear walls extend upwardly from the secondary work board to form a secondary chamber there between. Lower hinges pivotally couple the secondary work board and one side wall of the primary work board.
