Abstract:
A package for an article incorporating an on/off switch having a momentary-on position and a continuously-on position is disclosed. The package includes a cover such as a blister-type cover at least partially enclosing the article, and a recess arrangement formed in the cover proximate the switch. The recess arrangement prevents the switch from being slid into the continuously-on position while permitting the switch to be depressed into a momentary-on position. The recess arrangement includes a first recess positioned directly over the switch, and a second recess positioned directly adjacent the switch.
Abstract:
A process for producing a battery (10) containing electrochemical cells is distinguished by the fact that an electrically non-conductive track (30) or a similar coating is applied to the respective free edge region (26) of the two housing parts (12.1, 12. 2) between which the anode and cathode lugs (18) are guided out of the battery housing (12), in such away that it (30) is present at least in the regions of the lugs (18), and that it project beyond the free edge (20) of the housing part (12.1, 12.2) to which it is attached and/or engages around this free edge.
Abstract:
An electric plug carrier and light string packing arrangement including a light string packing holding a light string having an electric plug, and an electric plug carrier mounted in the light string packing. The electric plug carrier includes a base plate positioned in the light string packing, a slide holding the electric plug of the light string on the base plate, and a button connected to the slide and driven to move the slide on the base plate between a first position where the electric plug of the light string is received inside the light string packing, and a second position where the electric plug of the light string is extended out of an opening at the light string packing for making a test.
Abstract:
An electric apparatus packing bag which holds an electric apparatus, allowing the electric apparatus to be electrically tested when maintained intact with the packing bag. The packing bag has a through hole at one side panel thereof through which the electric wire of the electric apparatus extends to the outside of the packing bag, and a pocket-like cover panel, which shields the through hole and, has a retaining portion, which holds the test terminal of the electric wire of the electric apparatus in place.
Abstract:
The container of the present invention includes a box for housing an operatively connected closed circuit television system and having a front end for being opened. A packaging means holds the monitor and camera oriented within the box so that the lens of the camera and the screen of the monitor face the front end of the box. The packaging means also holds the camera and monitor such that the lens can be focused and picture controls on the monitor adjusted by accessing same through the front end. A power cord for connecting the system to an external power source is also accessible from the front end. Upon applying power, the monitor will display the view from the front end of the box as seen by the camera therein testing the system while in the shipping container. A method for testing such a system within the shipping container is also provided.
Abstract:
A display container includes (a) an enclosure having a container body and a lid mounted to the container body to enclose an interior chamber for storing botanical samples. The lid includes a lens defining an optical axis. The container body includes (i) an open top covered by the lid and defined by an opening, (ii) an interior base surface in the interior chamber and defined by an area smaller than that of the opening, the optical axis intersecting the base surface, and (iii) an interior sidewall surface sloping toward the base surface. The display container further includes (b) one or more scent ports extending through the lid, and (c) a port blocking member attached to the lid and movable between a closed position for blocking the scent ports and an open position for sampling an aroma of the botanical samples through the scent ports.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for a multisensory examination jar for botanical specimens. Embodiments of the disclosed jar may have a body portion with an integrated LED array for illuminating the contents of the jar. The jar may have a removable lid with an integrated magnifying lens, and an opening or port to enable a user to smell the contents of the jar. The opening may have a removable plug to establish a substantially air tight seal on the lid of the jar, to trap odors within the jar. The removable plug can be selectively removed to enable the user to smell the contents of the jar. The jar may have an electronics module and power source operable for wireless charging. The jar may also be configured to interface with a charging dock or base for wireless charging of integrated batteries.
