    摘要： A sleeve-type beverage can carrier with a handle opening in the top panel extending transversely of the folds connecting the top panel and the side panels. Tabs foldably connected to the transversely extending edges of the handle opening meet at the midpoint of the top panel, and slits extend from one of the handle opening edges through the folds and into the upper portions of the side panels. When the carrier is lifted, the top panel between the slits and the end panel nearest to the handle edge being grasped is caused to bow upwardly, and the lifting stresses are distributed through the top and side panels to prevent tearing.

    摘要： A carrier is provided for accommodating a plurality of articles. The carrier includes a base panel, wall panels extending upwardly from opposite peripheral portions thereof, and a handle foldably connected to upper portions of the wall panels and spanning the distance therebetween. The handle is provided with a center section having a pair of longitudinally spaced fingerholes formed therein. Each hole has a foldable tab which is substantially defined by a curved cut, the end portions of which are curved opposite from one another. The portion of the center section disposed intermediate the curved end portions of each cut provides the folding connection between the tab and the center section.

    摘要： A carton blank is assembled into a carton for beverage containers, the blank having a number of panels including a top panel, a bottom panel and a pair of side panels each joined by a fold line to an adjacent one of the panels. A number of end flaps are each joined by an end flap fold line to one of the panels and the end flaps are adapted to be folded upon selected other end flaps to form composite end panels of the carton. A carrying handle is formed in a selected one of the panels and adapted to be grasped by a user to carry the erected carton filled with the beverage containers. A pattern of stress-relieving lines are formed in the carton blank to produce a desired buckling of the carton when erected, filled and lifted to avoid tearing of the carton material.
