    摘要： A truck having a road oil spreader is equipped with an apparatus for simultaneous application of oil and paving fabric to the road surface. The apparatus includes an assembly for engaging a roll of paving fabric comprising adjustable cone arms mounted on end plates that rotatably hold the core of the fabric roll. The fabric is drawn over a guide shaft and beneath a sectioned box beam having a series of longitudinally aligned brushes. The shaft and brushes are connected to the opposing end plates which are attached to a lateral support beam. The end plates and box beam include joint, drive and connection means that permit longitudinal, vertical and angular adjustment of the guide shaft and brushes. As oil is sprayed over the road surface, the fabric unrolls and becomes embedded in the oil by action of the brushes pushing the fabric into the oil-coated surface.

    摘要： A sheet metal vehicle chassis supporting a container of liquid to be sprayed is provided on at least one of its wheels with cam rollers fixed to the wheel for rotation. The roller cams compress a loop of pump hose at spaced locations to siphon liquid from the container by way of a suction hose and discharge liquid through a discharge hose connected to respective hose barbs projecting through a hose barb mounting plate overlying the roller cams and having opposite ends coupled to said loop. An orthogonally adjustable nozzle support tube, connected at one end to the discharge hose, insures a varying density and pattern spray of liquid on the underlying floor during movement of the vehicle in self-pumping operation over said floor.

THE SCREW IS CONSTRUCTED IN THREE STAGES, THE FIRST STAGE HAVING A LARGE AVERAGE DIAMETER AND COARSE PITCH FOR MIXING CONCRETE. THIS LARGE DIAMETER SCREW TAPERS TOWARD THE SECOND STAGE WHICH IS OF SMALLER AVERAGE DIAMETER AND FINER PITCH TO COMPRESS CONCRETE DURING DELIVERY. THE THIRD STAGE, WHICH IS SMALLEST IN DIAMETER AND FINEST IN PITCH, SERVES AS AN EXTRUSION STAGE WHICH PROVIDES SUFFICIENT PRESSURE TO EXTRUDE CONCRETE THROUGH AN ORIFICE AND INTO A DELIVERY LINE. ROTATION OF THE SPIRAL SCREW IN ONE DIRECTION CAUSES THE CONCRETE TO MOVE TOWARD THE REAR OF THE DRUM, FORCING IT TO SPILL OVER THE INNER EDGES OF THE SCREW FOR MIXING AND AGITATING.
