Abstract:
A sound attenuating covering for an architectural opening is provided. The covering may include a frame, a first shade, and a second shade. The frame may include opposing side members, each defining an opposing channel extending along at least a portion of the side member. The first shade may be positioned forward of the frame and may define a plurality of horizontally-extending, transversely-collapsible cells. The second shade may be positioned rearward of the first shade and may be slidably received within the channels of the side members. The first and second shades may be operably coupled to a roller and may move in conjunction with one another across the architectural opening.
Abstract:
A twin roller smoke or fire barrier having: two parallel rollers and a curtain comprised of narrow curtain portions rolled on the rollers and arranged along the length of the rollers of alternate rollers with end margins overlapping opposite each other; the barrier including: a mechanism for varying separation of the rollers by at least the change in the overall diameter of one roller and its curtain portions between wound-up and unwound states, the mechanism including: movable supported roller or rollers; whereby in the unwound state of the curtain, the overlapping margins abut or at least are separated by a negligible amount at the rollers.
Abstract:
The inventive door comprises two lateral posts (2), a transversal caisson (3) connecting the top ends of the posts and a curtain (10) movable between the closing position thereof, wherein said curtain closes a void formed by posts (2) and caisson (3) and the opening position wherein said curtain is folded up under the caisson (3). According to the invention, said the curtain (10) consisting of two parallel screens (11a, 11b) defining the boundaries of an air cushion and suspended to the top area of the posts. Said curtain (10) comprises at least one lifting strap (20) connecting the lower part of the curtain (10) to a shaft (21) mounted on the caisson (3) and at least one transversal stiffening means built up on each screen (11a, 11b), the lateral edges of each screen (11a, 11b) are applied to the posts in such a way that a lateral surface tight contact is formed.
Abstract:
A system for attaching a shade material to a roller having recesses in its surface includes inserting portions of the shade material into an associated elongated recess and retaining the material in the recess with an attachment member having peaks and valleys along its length for intermittent engagement with the material within the recess.
Abstract:
A blind with a looped blind sheet for adjusting opacity is revealed. The blind includes a top rod supporter, a top rod with two ends connected to the top rod supporter, a bottom rod supporter, a bottom rod with two ends connected to the bottom rod supporter, and looped blind sheet. The looped blind sheet with predetermined length and width includes alternate see-through parts and opaque parts and connected to form a loop having a front blind sheet and a rear blind sheet wound between the top rod and the bottom rod. When the front blind sheet or the rear blind sheet is pulled down or up, the opacity is adjusted by overlap degree of the see-through parts and the opaque parts of the front and the rear blind sheets changing without changing the length of the looped blind sheet.
Abstract:
A window covering includes a first sheet of material connected to a mounting device adjacent to the front side of the window covering. A second sheet of material may be connected to a roller attached to the mounting device so that the second sheet is windable and unwindable from the roller. A third sheet of material is connected to the mounting device or the first sheet such that the second sheet is positioned between the first and third sheets. The first side of the first sheet is connected to a first side of the third sheet at first positions and the opposite sides of the first and third sheets are connected together at second positions. The second positions may be parallel to the first positions. The second sheet extends from the roller between the first and second positions and between the first sheet and the third sheet.

Abstract:
A roman curtain includes a curtain unit and a winding unit. The curtain unit has a covering portion, a top edge portion of which is adapted to be mounted to or in the vicinity of an upper edge of the window and which extends downwardly, an upper tube that is disposed on a rear side of the covering portion, a lower tube that is disposed on the rear side of the covering portion below and spaced apart vertically from the upper tube, and two rods that extend into the upper and lower tubes respectively. The winding unit has a winding rod that is adapted to be mounted rotatably to or in the vicinity of the upper edge of the window, and a winding piece, a top end portion of which is connected to the winding rod.
Abstract:
Present invention teaches to build a Roman shade window curtain where a roller shade is used in the back side of said window curtain, to provide for the release/retraction control, resulting in a “cord-less” control for the actuation of a. Roman shade, which hangs down from a special head rail on top, with the roller shade fabrics slideably travel down the gaps between each horizontal fold created by the rib, clip and rib rod.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises two sheets of canvas fabric or curtains and means for rolling up vertical strips or bands connected to intermediate crosspieces that move along guides when the strips are taken up. The crosspieces have a hollow cross section with an upper ridge and a lower ridge with holes for the strips to pass through. The crosspieces have, on the outer lateral faces, at least one groove for the fastening, by means of a bead, of bands for joining to the adjacent curtain. The inner faces of the crosspiece have one or more rounded longitudinal projections for guiding the displacement strips. The crosspieces comprise shock-proof elastic element arranged on the upper and/or lower ridge.
