摘要： The present invention provides a viewing device, said device being positioned within the outer and inner surfaces of an entry door, to ascertain the identity of prospective entrants from within the confines of a dewlling. The device includes on the outer surface of the door a turret wherein at least four ports retain a like series of wide angles lenses. One of said ports and its lens is situated axially along a line from the eyepiece for straight ahead viewing, while the three ports and complimentary lenses are situated radially at right angles in relation to said axial port so as to give complete views of the area below and to the right and left of the doorway. A mirror, being positioned by a cam means, transmits the light and hence the image from each port to the user within the dwelling. By repositioning the mirror, the user may ascertain the presence and identity of visitors within a complete one hundred eighty degree field before the door.

摘要： An apparatus to permit anatomical self examination consisting of a support frame and at least one support arm secured to and extending from the support frame at an angle in an approximate range of between 85 and 150 degrees. 摘要： The rear view system of the present invention allows a mirror to be mounted in the back of a bus which is effectively isolated from the vibration of the bus body thereby providing the driver a clear view of the passengers seated in the back of the bus even in buses having high back seats. The rear view system includes a mirror mounted to a backing support member. The backing support member is secured to the back of the bus using mounting brackets. A pair of matched mounting brackets is provided. Each bracket includes a lower strut fixedly mounted to the interior wall of the bus at one end and pivotally mounted to the backing support member adjacent the lower end of the mirror. An upper strut connected to the interior wall of the bus at a first end and connected to the backing support member adjacent the upper end of the mirror at a second end. The second end of the upper strut is adapted to translate with respect to the backing support member thereby allowing the mirror to pivot about the pivotal connection between the lower strut and the backing support member.

摘要： A pair of mirrors are mounted upon a support frame in front of a cathode ray viewing screen so as to double reflect the images on the screen so that they can be viewed looking downwardly rather than directly at the screen. A support member is provided for the mirrors which enables individual relative adjustment of such mirrors both towards and away from the screen as well as vertically and angularly relative to the screen. This end result is achieved by means of adjustable support rods which fit through elongated slots formed in the support frame as well as elongated slots formed in the mounts for the mirrors. In one embodiment the viewer assembly is supported on top of the CRT assembly with a balancing counterweight being employed to counterbalance the weight of the mirrors and their associated support members. In another embodiment a stand is provided for supporting the viewing aid in front of the screen.

摘要： A mirror assembly adaptable for use on bicycles having either drop handlebars or upright handlebars. The mirror assembly includes a rigid arm which is preferably bent at an angle between its ends to form a first member at its proximal end and a second member at its distal end, the arm having a rigid hook extending adjacent from the proximal end which is positionable around either a brake lever stem on drop handlebars or a handgrip on upright handlebars. A mirror is pivotally attached to the distal end of the arm. The mirror is mounted on the distal side of the arm when the hook is mounted over the brake lever stem on drop handlebars and the mirror is disposed on the proximal side of the arm when the hook is disposed under the handgrip of upright handlebars. The hook is preferably removably attached to either the brake lever stem or the handgrip by a flexible strap assembly which wraps around the hook and its support. The strap assembly includes a flexible strap having a ring disposed on one end of the strap and securing means such as Velcro attachment means.

The position and weight of the ballast can be adjusted to the specific vibration frequency of the mirror assembly. The adjustment of the ballast position is made either by moving the adjustment of rods secured to the ballast relative to the mirror assembly or by moving the ballast relative to the adjustment rod. The ballast absorbs the mirror vibration and thereby reduces the need for reenforcing mounting hardware and braces.

摘要： A rear viewing system allowing the driver to view occupants near the back of the bus comprises of a mirror resiliently mounted to a backing support member. The backing support member is attached to the back of the bus via two types of brackets. The first mounting bracket includes a mounting flange secured to the backing support member and an adjustable length L-shaped strut pivotally connected to the mounting flange and having a mounting surface adapted to be mounted flush to an interior wall of the bus. The second type of mounting bracket has two major components, a backing member strut and a securing strut. The backing member strut is essentially L-shaped as is the securing strut. The second mounting bracket is adjustable in that a fastener connects aligned openings in the backing member strut and securing strut.
