Abstract: A security holder for an item such as the jewel case of a CD, DVD or the like. The holder comprises a shell defined by a pair of major faces separated by side edges of the shell. The item is inserted through a mouth into the holder between said major faces of the shell. The mouth and the shell are formed as a unitary construction. Abstract: The CD box holder comprises a substantially flat base plate. A shelf is formed at the bottom to vertically support the CD box. At the top a push panel in combination with a locking panel are rotatably mounted. To utilize the Invention, the bottom edge of the CD box is inserted on the shelf and the top is pushed into the holder until it is held securely in place by the locking panel. To remove the CD box, the locking panel is rotated up and the push panel pushes the CD box out from the holder.

Abstract: A media holder mouse pad having an upper half casing and a bottom half casing that when sandwiched together forms a storage compartment therebetween for storing 3.5 inch floppy diskettes, CDs, DVDs, mini DVDs, and the like. In the diskettes/disk storage mode, the casing can be but not limited to triangular, rectangular, and polygonal shapes and can easily be placed in the mail and/or stored similar to traditional diskette/disc cases. The upper half casing and the bottom half casing can be completely separated and has connectors on their respective sides for allowing each half to be attached in a side by side arrangement so that it can be used as a work surface for supporting mouse pads, and the like. The arrangement is expandable so that other casing halves can be attached side by side so that a larger workplace surface can be formed for supporting other objects such as laptop computers and the like. Additionally, the casings can be attached side-by-side in a similar manner without having to separate the top and bottom halves.

Abstract: A bracket (10) is provided for supporting CD cases onto a planar mounting surface (400) so that the front of the case (190) is visible. The bracket (10) is comprised of a planar (60), which has a rigid portion (60), a flexible portion (90), a first side which faces the mounting surface (400), and a second side which faces away from the mounting surface (400). Four rigid arms (130, 140, 170, 180), are attached to the first side and are positioned to hold the case (190) when the case is engaged into the bracket. Two rigid base pieces (20, 30) function as offsetting means, to offset the bracket (10) from the mounting surface (400). Two tabs (150, 160) for holding the case (10) by two holes (260, 270) on the case (10) are attached to two (130, 140) of the arms. The remaining two arms (170, 180) do not have tabs, and one of these arms (170) is attached to the flexible portion (90) of the planar (60). Case insertion into the bracket and extraction from the bracket is made possible by the interaction of the offsetting means (20, 30), the flexible portion (90), and the arm (170) with no tabs. Both insertion and extraction do not require any forces pulling the bracket (10) away from the mounting surface (400). Instead, case insertion and extraction is executed by pushing an arm (170) elastically toward the mounting surface (400), eliminating the risk of inadvertently separating the bracket (10) from the mounting surface (400) or damaging the mounting surface. The bracket inflicts zero clamping forces on the case (190), eliminating the risk of damaging the case (190).
