    摘要: A radio-antenna interface is disclosed for coupling of an antenna to one or more radio receivers. The radio-antenna interface includes a hub and a feed-boom. The hub includes an aperture adapted to receive the feed-boom. The hub is also fitted with latches adapted to detachably couple the radio to the hub in a manner which is substantially independent of a configuration type of the radio. The hub is adapted to be detachably coupled to the antenna in a manner which substantially avoids reconfiguration of the antenna. The feed-boom communicates signals received by the antenna to the radio.

The system additionally can include a platform subassembly that comprises a structure platform connected to a platform mounting bracket. The platform mounting bracket can be pivotally connectable to the pole mounting bracket and can be adjustably coupled to the pole mounting bracket in a vertical orientation within a second plane that is orthogonal to the first plane, regardless of the verticality of the pole within the second plane, to thereby place the structure platform in a substantially level orientation.

    摘要: Antenna arrays configured to produce directional antenna beam patterns are described. An antenna array produces a Hi antenna beam pattern and a Lo antenna beam pattern. Based on received satellite information, a mechanically scanning directional antenna system operates to adjust the azimuth direction of the antenna between the two beam patterns to maintain optimum satellite signal reception at different geographical locations and different elevation angles. In one embodiment an antenna mechanically adjusts direction based on geographical location information such as latitude and longitude received by a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver. In another embodiment, an antenna mechanically adjusts its direction based on received satellite quality metrics such as signal to noise ratio, bit error rate, and/or received power, and uses these signal quality metrics to track the satellite.

The two legs of the bipod 1 are arranged with their upper ends getting close to each other with a predetermined distance at a tilt with respect to the axial Z axis. Variations in moment load generated in the reflecting mirror can be suppressed by making the intersecting point of the center axes of the two legs of the bipod 1 agree with the position of the center of gravity of the reflecting mirror.
