摘要: Herein is an electrical connector with an inner conductor extending in the mating direction, a main body portion extending in the mating direction to accommodate one end of the inner conductor and to which a coaxial cable is attached, and a mating portion extending in the mating direction to accommodate the other end of the inner conductor and mates with a counterpart connector. An accommodating space in the main body portion accommodates one end of the inner conductor. An attachment aperture communicates with the accommodating space by extending in the lateral direction perpendicular to the mating direction and attaches the coaxial cable to the main body portion to connect its center conductor to one end of the inner conductor. The attachment aperture of the main body portion includes a tapered portion decreasing in diameter toward the accommodating space at the end proximal to the accommodating space.

摘要: An adaptor adequate for broadcast apparatuses required having high electrical performance and reliability achieves a reduced assembly length when a connector is connected to the adaptor body. In an adaptor, a cylindrical external contact of a first mating portion has an outer peripheral surface. A bottom surface that defines a lower end of the outer peripheral surface is located inside an adaptor body, and retracted from a top surface of one end of the adaptor body axially inward of the adaptor body. When a first connector mates with the first mating portion, the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical external contact of the first mating portion engages with an inner peripheral surface of an external contact of a first connector.

摘要: A coaxial connector assembly is described herein. The coaxial connector assembly includes an inner contact that is configured to terminate a center conductor of a coaxial cable, an insulative inner sleeve holding the inner contact, a tubular outer contact surrounding the inner sleeve and the inner contact, said outer contact configured to terminate a shield braid of the coaxial cable and an insulative cylindrical outer sleeve defining a central cavity extending longitudinally therethrough in which said outer contact is disposed. The cavity has an opening configured to receive a corresponding coaxial connector. A lip on a forward end of the outer sleeve extends into the opening such that a forward edge of the outer contact is not exposed within the opening. The coaxial connector assembly may be configured to meet the FAKRA connector standards.
