摘要: A connector is provided which has a main body, a contact part, a tail part, and a plurality of terminals. The main body is made of an insulating material formed in a columnar shape extending in an inserting and extracting direction with a counterpart connector. The plurality of terminals are made of a conductive material loaded in the main body. The terminals are arranged around an axial wire extending in the inserting and extracting direction of the main body so that the position of the tail part forms a polygon in a plan view in a direction perpendicular to the axial wire. The main body includes a tail holding part extending in an axial wire direction. The tail part of each adjacent terminal is exposed at a different position in the axial wire direction in the tail holding part.

摘要: A coaxial connector assembly is described herein. The coaxial connector assembly includes an inner contact that is configured to terminate a center conductor of a coaxial cable, an insulative inner sleeve holding the inner contact, a tubular outer contact surrounding the inner sleeve and the inner contact, said outer contact configured to terminate a shield braid of the coaxial cable and an insulative cylindrical outer sleeve defining a central cavity extending longitudinally therethrough in which said outer contact is disposed. The cavity has an opening configured to receive a corresponding coaxial connector. A lip on a forward end of the outer sleeve extends into the opening such that a forward edge of the outer contact is not exposed within the opening. The coaxial connector assembly may be configured to meet the FAKRA connector standards.

摘要: A connector assembly includes a receptor connector and a cable end connector. The receptor connector has a receptor terminal set, a receptor connector body, a slot set and a guide slot set. The cable end connector has a cable end terminal set, a cable end connector body, a block set and a guide block set. The invention allows the cable end connector body to be connected with the receptor connector body by means of the guide slot set and the guide block set, and also allows the receptor terminal set to be plugged with the cable end terminal set by means of the slot set and the block set. Thereby, the receptor connector and the cable end connector of the invention can be easily connected.

摘要: A jack receptacle for a plug connector is configured with a receptacle profile having one or more keying features disposed on a removable bezel which correspond to complementary keying features formed on a plug connector. The jack receptacle with removable keyed bezel can be configured to allow only plug connectors with the corresponding keying features to mate therewith, while preventing plugs without the corresponding keying features from mating. These features can prevent non-certified devices from being plugged into a power-delivering data circuit, and also permit the keying of receptacles with removable bezels based on ratings for transmission of different power levels. Other embodiments of the keyed jack receptacle can be configured to allow both plug connectors with the corresponding keying features and plug connectors without the corresponding keying features from mating therewith. This provides a means to migrate specific circuits within the system to limited power usage.

摘要: A receptacle connector for mating with a plug connector, the receptacle connector includes: a terminal module comprising an insulative housing, two rows of terminals, and a metallic shielding plate, the insulative housing having a base portion and a tongue portion, the tongue portion defining two opposite surfaces, the two rows of terminals being reversely-symmetrically arranged at the two surfaces of the tongue portion, the metallic shielding plate located between the two rows of terminals; and a shielding shell retained to the insulative housing and forming a mating cavity to receive the tongue portion, wherein the shielding shell defines a mating protrusion on one of the plurality of side walls, the mating protrusion extending outwardly to be precluded from reversely mating with the plug connector which has a contour compliant with said mating cavity and an identification protrusion accommodated in the mating protrusion.
