Abstract:
Charging of a camera 100 and backup of data are concurrently executed to enable picking up an image regardless of a remaining available memory. As the camera 100 is attached to a cradle 200, image data for the image picked up by a camera module 110 of the camera 100 is directly transferred to and recorded in a HDD 220 of the cradle 200. Image data, already recorded in the flash memory 133 of the camera 100, is backed up by the HDD 220 of the cradle 200. Further, the cradle 200 allows a charging circuit 204 to charge a rechargeable battery of the camera 100 using electric power supplied via an AC cord 280. Also, the cradle 200 has a tripod bore 270 through which the camera is fixed to a tripod for picking up the image.
Abstract:
A disclosed managing apparatus and image forming apparatus management system ensure confidentiality of information in an image forming apparatus while usability is maintained. An image forming apparatus acquires IC card identifying information with an IC card reader. A management server acquires a user ID associated with the acquired IC card identifying information and use limit information concerning use of the image forming apparatus. A process is performed in the image forming apparatus in accordance with the use limit information.
Abstract:
Image data is transmitted from an image input apparatus to an information processing apparatus. Specific information (e.g., photographing information) that specifies the image data, and identification information (e.g., a disk name) that identifies an optical disk on which the image data is recorded, are added to the image data. Further, the specific information and the identification information are stored in a storage device. Subsequently, specific information that matches with an input keyword is searched from the specific information stored in the storage device. Then, the searched specific information and the identification information corresponding to the searched specific information are displayed in a list on a display. By performing a keyword adding process and an image searching process, the optical disk containing desired image data can be easily specified. Therefore, desired image data recorded on the optical disk can be easily searched.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments provide a technique that processes captured images derived from selected targeted objects in a field of view. The captured images may be transferred via a communication link to a storage location for future availability. A possible aspect may provide a cross-reference association between saved multiple exposures having different quality characteristics. In some instances an identifier record is provided to enable future accessibility to selected captured data by one or more authorized parties or approved devices or authorized recipients. In some embodiments the captured data may include both a video data stream and one or more still image frames derived from related fields of view. Stored versions of the captured images may be provided in original or altered form to be incorporated in a composite visual work.
Abstract:
A method and system for managing data transmission between an external memory and an internal memory of an electronic apparatus is provided. The system includes an interactive interface for outputting messages that indicate real-time storage status of the internal memory and external memory card. When an external memory card is inserted, the system automatically duplicates files stored in the internal memory to the external memory card, and deletes the files in the internal memory upon determining that the files have been successfully transferred to the external memory card by matching the file names of the files in the internal memory to the external memory card. The system further includes a clamping means for securely clamping the portion of the external memory card that is exposed outside the electronic apparatus to avoid unintentional detachment of the external memory card from the electronic apparatus.
Abstract:
A technique processes captured data on a device, wherein selected captured data of a given quality resolution is transferred via a communication link to a separate storage location for future availability. A storage protocol may include different storage organization categories. A possible aspect includes an identifier record to enable future accessibility to selected captured data by one or more authorized parties or approved devices or authorized recipients.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a camera apparatus comprises an adapter connecting section. The adapter connecting section can be connected to a cradle. An arbitrary number of external recording apparatuses are connected to the camera apparatus via the cradle. An image signal stored in a recording medium of the camera apparatus can be output to the external recording apparatuses via the cradle through a LAN. A monitor section of the camera apparatus can display the arbitrary number of external recording apparatuses, to which the image signal stored in the recording medium of the camera apparatus can be transferred.
Abstract:
When image shooting is performed in a mode that records plural images in response to a single shooting instruction and deletion is instructed on a shot-image confirmation screen that displays the shot image data immediately after the shooting, the plural image data generated by the same shooting instruction are all collectively deleted. On the contrary, in a playback mode, when deletion is instructed to one of the plural image data shot by the same shooting instruction, only the one image that has been instructed for deletion is deleted. This feature improves usability of the image sensing apparatus capable of recording plural images in response to a single shooting instruction.
Abstract:
An electronic camera can be loaded with a semiconductor memory and a storage medium that has a storage capacity larger than that of the memory and is rotated to record or reproduce data. Digital image data obtained by photographing are recorded in the memory. When the residual storage capacity of the memory reaches a predetermined value, the digital image data recorded in the memory are transferred to the storage medium.
Abstract:
If the residual capacity of a recording medium in an image capturing apparatus becomes five or less, the image capturing apparatus wirelessly transmits a command signal to an image recording apparatus to turn on a power supply of the image recording apparatus. Then, in response to a standby signal from the image recording apparatus, the image capturing apparatus wirelessly transmits the image data recorded in the recording device to the image recording apparatus.
