摘要: A universally fitting, removable padded wraparound luggage handle cover includes a substantially square and planar interior sheet of a cushioning, preferably foam-like material. About the cushioning material is peripherally secured a top and a bottom sheet of a flexible high woven fabric. To the top sheet of the fabric is secured an elongate strip of hook-and-loop material having a width in a range of about 1 to about 3.5 centimeters and secured to the top sheet along one entire edge thereof. A second or bottom strip of hook-and-loop material, generally complemental in width to the top strip, is secured to the bottom sheet of fabric along an edge opposite to the edge at which the top strip, is secured and in which the respective fabric edges define a distance therebetween in a range of about 12 to about 17 centimeters. The bottom sheet of fabric is preferably provided with a transparent envelope having one free edge into which may be inserted owner identification or other information. The thickness of the inventive removable wraparound handle cover is at its maximum when the hook-and-loop strips are secured to each other so that the entire handle cover assumes the geometry of an annular solid ellipsoid. In such condition, the strip defines a maximum thickness of the structure of about one centimeter. The strips and cushioning define an elongate zone of maximum thickness of the inventive handle cover that may be readily positioned by the user to protect a part of the hand or fingers that is most susceptible to pain or fatigue.

摘要: A vibration dampening grip cover for the handle of an implement is preferably of multilayer laminate form having an inner vibration dampening layer and an outer gripping layer. A further inner force dissipating stiffening layer is included in the laminate. In a variation of the invention a grip cover is in the form of a sleeve which fits over the end of an implement handle. The sleeve terminates in a peripherally outward knob. The sleeve may be of a single layer made from vibration dampening material or may be a multilayer laminate.

摘要: The present invention relates generally to a cushioning device that is adapted to retain a flowable medium to provide a cushioning effect. The cushioning device has a cushioning member having a deformable bladder member defining a medium chamber and a flowable medium, such as a fluid, retained in the chamber. The cushioning member is adapted to be mounted onto an article to thereby provide a cushioning effect for a user. The cushioning device can optionally have a support element to provide an additional cushioning effect. The present invention also relates to a cushioned article that has a finger-held or finger-manipulated article on which the cushioning device is mounted to provide a comfortable finger grip for a user. The cushioned article is so formed that it can fit within the user's finger grip and that the inflated bladder member can be deformed by the user's fingers or fingertips.

The collar has a radially inner surface to form an interference engagement with the outer surface of the article, and a radially outer surface to engage the inner surface of the tubular body. The outer surface of the collar and/or the inner surface of the tubular body is tapered towards the trailing end of the device.
