Abstract:
A handle for holding and securing telescoping tubings has a handle which when turned, partially threads in or threads out a threaded knob. According to which direction the handle is turned, it causes a block to either become tighter when the threaded knob is threaded in or looser when the threaded knob is threaded out. This either pushes the inner tubing towards the opposite faces of an outer tubing when threading in and increase the friction between the inner and the outer tubing or reduce the friction between the inner tubing and the outer tubing by loosening the block when threading out.
Abstract:
The present invention disclose the positioning structure of a handle comprising a base possessing an axial hole and two hollow spaces mounts on the inner tube; two movable pieces with slanting cambered face provided screw teeth thereon mounts in each of the hollow spaces of the base; a rotating ring mounts on the outer tube; a rotating cone has an axial multilateral hole mounting in the hole of the base and between the two movable pieces, and cone face of the rotating cone provided screw teeth to bite the screw teeth of the movable pieces; and a rotating rod passing through the axial hole of the rotating cone, and one end of the rotating rod is fixed on the rotating ring, so that when rotating the rotating ring can control the retract of the handle.
Abstract:
A tool box includes a base and a cover which is pivotably connected to a side of the base, and at least one of the base and the cover has receiving members defined in an edge and an outer surface thereof. A handle includes a handle portion and a decoration portion which is connected to the handle portion and matched with a profile of the at least one of the base and the cover. A plurality of engaging members are connected to the handle portion and the decoration portion. The engaging members are engaged with the receiving members.
Abstract:
The method of manufacturing a handle grip of a tool comprises the steps of: 1. to position a mandrel of a manufacturing machine and to inject plastic material to form an inner layer; 2. to release the positioning to leave positioning holes on the shaped inner layer, the inner layer then is processed by second time injection to completely envelop the inner layer with plastic and shape a middle layer; and 3. the middle layer being processed by third time injection to partially envelop the middle layer with plastic to thereby form an external layer with the middle layer partially exposed, and the handle grip of the tool with two colors in firm combining state being completed. On the handle grip made by these steps, the holes formed after taking off the mandrel of the manufacturing machine are holes for combining the stem of the tool; hence the holes made are not subjected to twisting and deformation, and is convenient for combining with the stem. Using this process, a handle grip of the tool with plural colors can be produced.
Abstract:
A tool handle and a method of producing the same are provided by which a hollow plastic or composite rod is produced with a polymer at least partly filling the hollow portion. Optionally the handle may be counterbalanced by heavier material in the hollow-portion of the rod opposite the end that connects to an implement.
Abstract:
A furniture handle comprises a frame having a frame wall defining a cavity. The frame has at least one protrusion opening extending from the cavity through the frame wall. An insert is adapted to be retained within the cavity. The insert has a protrusion extending through the at least one protrusion, opening beyond the frame wall. Preferably the cavity has an insert opening accessible from outside of said frame, such that the insert can be placed into and removed from the cavity. Preferably the insert is made from one of a polymer gel, neoprene, rubber, latex rubber, suitable PVC and polyurethane foams, and styrene or polystyrene.
Abstract:
The present invention is a detachable handle cushion comprising a flexible flat structure having a cushioning element on one surface of the structure, that is configured to attach to an elongated object such as a luggage handle, a load carrying rope, or a heavy machinery handle. The handle cushion is designed to change from a flat configuration into a closed configuration by being wrapped around the handle.
Abstract:
A generally C shaped power tool handle has two ends for releasably engaging the power tool housing, with a gripping portion between the ends. One of the handle ends has a release lever, while the other of the ends has an attachment arm. The release lever has an actuating end operable to detach the handle from the tool housing. Additional power tool handle embodiments are directed to a tool handle that has a gripping layer and a storage compartment in the handle, with a pliable lip in the handle for resisting movement of stored tools.
Abstract:
A device for personalizing a toothbrush comprises a tubular elastic sheath (10) designed to be applied to the handle of a toothbrush (16) and bears visual means of personalization (18, 20) for enabling the user to distinguish between toothbrushes that are similar. The sheath (10) is able to deform elastically for adhering to the handles of toothbrushes (16) of different shapes and sizes.
Abstract:
A device, method and system for a secure, comfortable grip on a railing or other hand support system. The device includes a skin layer permanently adhered to a 4-way stretchable material layer. The 4-way stretchable material layer is releasably adhered to a railing or other hand support system. A backing layer between the skin layer and the 4-way stretchable material layer can be inserted for greater comfort and friction. The grip of the present invention is designed to be releasably attachable to the railing or other hand support system.
