    Abstract: Carts for transporting elongated materials and processes for making, assembling, and using same. In some examples, the carts can include a pivot assembly that pivotally connects an arm to a frame to allow the arm to move between a use position and a stored position. An arm receiver can be configured to selectively engage the first arm to selectively maintain the arm in the use position, and to selectively disengage the arm to allow the arm to be moved from the use position to the stored position. A locking pin assembly can be configured for automatic actuation to allow the arm to move from the stored position to the use position and to lock the arm in the use position without manual actuation.

    Abstract: A dish cart includes a top with a slot for receiving a lift arm that may be lifted up through the slot to raise or lower dishes. Lobe openings emanating from the slot receive lobes of a lift paddle secured to the lift arm. The cart may define a gap below the top for permitting insertion of the lift paddle and the lift arm. The cart may be adjusted to receive differently sized dishes by means of rails of different sizes or adjustable vanes. A dish drop station includes the lift arm and lift paddle and a lift mechanism for raising and lower the lift arm. The dish drop station may include a cart present sensor and include a lock for retaining the cart. The controller may be programmed to the lower the lift arm to an unlock position that disengages the cart lock.

    Abstract: A novel waste bin carrier (100) is proposed for carrying at least one waste bin (200). The waste bin carrier (100) includes a frame (110) having a base (130) for receiving thereon one waste bin (200) or more. The waste bin carrier (100) also has a locking mechanism (120) movably attached to the frame (110) for releasably securing at least one waste bin (200) to the waste bin carrier (100).     Abstract: A system for securing at least one fixture for transport or storage is described. The system comprises at least one rod from which the at least one fixture may be hung by an associated clamp that is attached to the top of the fixture. A locking bar associated with each of the at least one rod is provided, along with a locking mechanism, which may be actuated by a worker to move the locking bar between an open and a closed position. When the locking bar is in the closed position, it secures all clamps to the at least one rod simultaneously. When the locking bar is in an open position, any hung fixtures are released and can be removed from the rod. Described also is a method for securing a fixture.

    Abstract: A device for use in lifting, transporting and installing sheet material has a base, wheels on which the base is supported, a mast that extends upwardly from the base, a carriage that is in engagement with the mast, a supporting head that is mounted to the carriage, and a lifting mechanism to provide support to the carriage in the longitudinal direction of the mast. The wheels include rear wheels that are connected to the rear of the base in a manner that permits steering of the device during movement across a surface, and a front wheel set that is connected to the front of the base. The front wheel set includes a wheel to each side of the device, and the wheels of the front wheel set are rotatable about a common axis. The connection of the mast to the base is such that the mast is rotatable relative to the base about a rotational axis. The device further has an actuator that is operable to change the angular position of the mast relative to the base. The supporting head is configured to support sheet material above the surface.

    Abstract: A movable rack system for storing carts or other suitable transports for storing rolls of synthetic turf. Alternatively, the rolls of synthetic turf may be stored directly on the rack systems. A first row of rack systems contains N rack systems. An adjacent row contains N−1 rack systems. The rack systems in the adjacent row can be moved laterally so that access to the first row is available for loading and unloading rack systems contained in that row. In a second moveable rack system, a plurality of satellite hubs rotate about a central hub such that support structures on the satellite hubs are capable of rotating into a loading position and then rotating away from the loading position to a storage position.
