    摘要: A railway passenger gate assembly includes a platform having a well extending into a surface thereof. A housing is positioned within the well and has an open apex flush with the upper surface. A pair of vertically oriented cylinders is positioned within the housing. A conduit is in fluid communication with each of the cylinders. Each of the cylinders has one of a pair of pistons positioned therein. The pistons each have a bottom end and a top end. Each of the top ends has one of a pair of posts attached thereto. A railing is attached to and extends between the posts. The pistons are movable from a stored position with the railing being approximately flush with the upper surface or in a deployed position positioned above the upper surface. A pump in fluid communication with the cylinders forces fluid into the cylinders to urge the pistons upwardly.

    摘要: A tilt-up door for a building having an opening including a door frame with vertical track members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical tracks at the upper portion of the tracks and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled with rollers disposed within the vertical tracks and cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. The cams can include a first steep inclined segment, a second inclined segment and a third segment. When an upwardly directed motive force acts on the door the cam followers come into engagement with the cam surface to lift the door generally vertically and then rotate the door inwardly as the door is raised into an open raised position.

    摘要: An access door for insertion into an opening in a construction surface is provided. The access door has a frame for engagement with edges of the opening in the construction surface. The frame has a channel formed therein for receiving a thermally insulative material to provide a thermal break between the frame and the construction surface. A door is operatively coupled to the frame and movable between an open position allowing access through the opening in the construction surface and a closed position preventing access through the opening in the construction surface.

    摘要: A tilt-up door for a building having an opening, a pair of substantially vertically juxtaposed members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical members at the upper portion and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled to carriages arranged for vertical movement along the vertical members and can have cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. Hydraulic actuators can be connected to the carriages to move the carriages along the vertical members. When the actuator or actuators are operated to move the carriages vertically along the members the cam followers can move along the cam surfaces to tilt the door to a horizontal position as the door is moved vertically upward into an open raised position.

    摘要: A swing door operator having a powered driver operable to manipulate a drive unit that rotates a spindle to open a door. As the door is opened, the drive unit compresses a spring engaged with a spring mount that is pivotally connected to the drive unit. The spring mount is pivotable between an operating configuration in which the spring is arranged to be compressed by the drive unit as spindle rotates in the first direction and to expand thereafter to rotate the spindle in a second direction opposite the first direction, and a servicing configuration in which the spring is slidably removable from the spring mount.
