    摘要: A multi-panel overhead stacking door which allows for the addition of multiple panels across an opening width. A vertical extrusion acts a guide for the panel above and/or below it. The vertical extrusion serves as a moving guide which thereby allows for the relatively easy addition of multiple panels. At each end of the door is a series of formed parts that are attached to the ends of the end panels and movably maintained with door guides. The assembled door is driven by, for example, a driven shaft, positioned at the top of or above the door opening. The shaft comprises drums to windingly and unwindingly receive a lifting member. The lifting member runs from the drum to the bottom panel assembly behind each vertical extrusion.

    摘要: An assembly for opening/closing doors including at least a first wing, a second wing and a mechanism adapted to move the wings from a closing position wherein they lie in a vertical plane, to an opening position wherein they are arranged facing each other and lying onto parallel and substantially horizontal planes, and vice versa. The passage from the closing position to the opening position and vice versa occurs through a synchronized and simultaneous rotary-translating motion of the wings. The mechanism includes first and second kinematic arrangements respectively adapted to move the first and second wings, the kinematic arrangements being separate and distinct, kinematically connected through a mechanism for synchronizing and changing the transmission ratio to impart a differential trajectory to the synchronized motion of the first wing with respect to the second wing during closing and opening.

    摘要: A tilt-up door for a building having an opening including a door frame with vertical track members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical tracks at the upper portion of the tracks and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled with rollers disposed within the vertical tracks and cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. The cams can include a first steep inclined segment, a second inclined segment and a third segment. When an upwardly directed motive force acts on the door the cam followers come into engagement with the cam surface to lift the door generally vertically and then rotate the door inwardly as the door is raised into an open raised position.

    摘要: The auxiliary storage compartment for airline passenger cabins is installed between conventional overhead baggage bins in an airline passenger aircraft. The compartment has a slide-up door that forms the floor and one wall of the compartment when the door is closed. When the door is raised, any article(s) therein automatically deploy and fall from the compartment due to gravity. The compartment may contain a fire retardant blanket, first aid kit, or other article(s). The door is lifted automatically by a motor that draws a tensile cable upward upon demand, the distal end of the cable being attached to the upper portion of the door. Detection of a passenger cabin fire or smoke triggers an audible alarm, with a sensor receiving the audible signal to actuate the motor and draw the door upward. The door may be lifted manually by a recessed handle in the lower outer portion of the door.

    摘要: A tilt-up door for a building having an opening, a pair of substantially vertically juxtaposed members, cam surfaces extending laterally from the vertical members at the upper portion and a door sized to span the opening. The door can be pivotally coupled to carriages arranged for vertical movement along the vertical members and can have cam followers extending laterally from the upper portion of the door to contact the cam surfaces. Hydraulic actuators can be connected to the carriages to move the carriages along the vertical members. When the actuator or actuators are operated to move the carriages vertically along the members the cam followers can move along the cam surfaces to tilt the door to a horizontal position as the door is moved vertically upward into an open raised position.

    摘要: A fluid-based spring counterbalance mechanism comprising an elastic flexible fluid-based spring disposed between two surfaces is used to support some or all of the weight of a movable barrier. A linkage mechanism comprising at least one rotating rotatable shaft is configured to receive rotational motion from a jackshaft associated with the movable barrier. A translational mechanism coupled to the at least one rotating shaft and coupled to at least one of the two surfaces is configured to compress the flexible fluid-based spring between the two surfaces in response to rotation of the rotatable shaft. By compressing the fluid-based spring, the counterbalance mechanism provides a force that partially or fully supports the weight of the movable barrier.
