摘要： A viewfinder for indicating substantially how much of a subject an objective lens projects on to the film in a camera comprises a frame for viewing the portion of the subject to be recorded on the film. The frame includes a lattice like arrangement of spaced light baffles which define relatively small viewing openings between the baffles for viewing the subject through the openings. Each of the light baffles has a length which is sufficient with respect to the optical axis of the the objective lens to block from view ambient light reflected to the viewing openings from outside the portion of the subject the lens projects on to the film. Thus when the eye is brought relatively close to the lattice like arrangement the view through the viewing openings will be substantially coincident with the portion of the subject recorded on the film, since the area outside that portion will appear blackened. This effect is achieved without having to center the eye with respect to the lattice like arrangement.

摘要： A photographic print and developing tray which is to removably connect to the bottom of the base of a photographic enlarger. The photographic enlarger is to utilize a photographic transparency which is to be projected onto an unexposed photographic paper mounted within the photographic print and developing tray. The photographic print and developing tray includes a removable cover which is removed during exposure of the photographic paper. The tray is to accommodate photographic print developing liquid. The liquid is to be supplied to the tray through a dispenser. The dispenser includes a spout which to tightly engage with the tray. The dispenser also includes a manually operable valve which is to be movable from a closed position to an open position to permit moving of liquid between the tray and the dispenser.

摘要： An arrangement for developing photomaterials has a rotatable drum arranged to accommodate a photomaterial, a plurality of vessels for various treatment fluids, an arm having a free end rotatably connectable with the drum and turnable together with the latter between a substantially horizontal initial position for supplying a treatment fluid from one of the vessels into the drum for treatment of the photomaterial and an inclined emptying position for discharging a used treatment fluid from the drum after the treatment, a guide arranged so that the vessels are located near one another in a stack and displaceable to the drum for filling the latter, a stepping element including the arm and arranged to displace the vessel of the stack by a respective one of the vessels in a cycle with the turning of the arm, and a lifting member provided on the arm and arranged so as to upwardly tilt the vessel which has been displaced to the drum, to its pouring position of the treatment fluid.

摘要： A photographic camera apparatus of the type having distinct viewing-focusing and exposure operational modes is provided with a simple, independent, single window optical viewing apparatus suitable for aiming a camera to frame a relatively large format picture area and a through-the-lens reflex focusing apparatus which provides a magnified image, visible in the viewing apparatus, of only part of the camera's field of view so that the focusing apparatus may be comparatively compact and simplified relative to a full field reflex focusing device which would view the entire field of view during focusing. The viewing apparatus also includes a visual indicator for locating the field position within the camera's field of view from which the magnified part image is derived.

摘要： Photographic apparatus including an indicating device bearing indicia for relating to the operator a distance at which a variable focusing lens assembly of the apparatus is focused. The indicating device is coupled to a focusing control system of the apparatus for movement therewith as the lens assembly is moved between distant and nearmost foci to bring the camera into coincidence with a predetermined estimation of a camera-to-subject distance for a photographic scene.In a preferred embodiment, an image of the indicia is presented in or beneath a field of view of a viewfinder mounted upon the apparatus and serves as a reminder to the operator of the distance at which the lens assembly is focused whereby an error in the focused position of the lens assembly is made obvious to the operator and a proper correction can be made before the shutter of the apparatus is released.

摘要： An optic providing reduction in secondary or ghost images includes a beam splitter, a reflective surface, and at least one baffle therebetween. A transmissive surface may be located between the beam splitter and the reflective surface. The baffle is positioned to intercept internally reflected ghost rays while being substantially parallel to outside light rays along a line of sight of the viewer, permitting use in see-through optics. The baffles may be formed of diffusing structures, light absorbing material, and combinations of both. Baffles intercept and scatter or absorb ghost rays to the exclusion of projected image rays that provide a desired projected image which are internally reflected through the optic. An assembly including such optic integrated with a wearable vision system, such as a head-mounted display, is also disclosed for near-eye application.
