Abstract: Disclosed is a method for smart control of a gas pipeline network data collection terminal. The method may include: receiving, based on a preset transmission cycle, gas data and environmental monitoring data; in response to determining that at least one of the gas data or the environmental monitoring data does not meet a first preset condition, generating a first adjustment parameter; sending the first adjustment parameter to one or more first associated gas pipeline network data collection terminals; predicting, based on the gas data and the environmental monitoring data, future environmental change data at a future time point for an environment in which the gas pipeline network data collection terminal is located; in response to determining that the future environmental change data does not meet a second preset condition, generating a second adjustment parameter; and sending the second adjustment parameter to the gas pipeline network data collection terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for warning abnormal gas transmission loss, comprising obtaining gas flow data, gas pressure data, and ambient temperature data of a plurality of time points respectively based on the gas metering devices, the pressure detection devices, and the temperature monitoring devices; determining a gas metering error by processing the ambient temperature data, gas metering device information, and gas information using an error model; determining whether gas loss is abnormal loss based on the gas flow data, the gas pressure data, and the gas metering error; in response to the gas loss being the abnormal loss, determining a warning level based on a position and a size of the abnormal loss; and determining, based on the warning level, a warning notice corresponding to the warning level, and sending the warning notice to the gas user platform through the gas service platform to send a warning to a user.

Abstract: Distributed energy trading settlement is provided. The method comprises polling a number of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices for energy consumption and production data for a specified preceding time interval and receiving weather data from a weather application programming interface (API) for the same time interval. A number of bids and offers are received from a central modelling solution within a specified trading window, based on the data from the IoT devices and weather API. Orders are then created from the bids and offers. At least a subset of the orders are matched to create a number of matched trades, which are published to a message queue. The published matched trades are committed as transactions in a blockchain, and tokens are transferred between user wallets according to the transactions in the blockchain.

The Internet of Things device comprises a communications module having circuitry to communicatively connect to a computer network, a memory operable to store data, a processor coupled to the memory and the communications module and operable to execute instructions stored in the memory, and an activity module, including at least one of a sensor and a control device. The activity module operates under control of the processor to perform a designated activity with at least one of the sensor and the control device. The activity module further communicates on the computer network via the communications module. The processor curtails a volume of communication of the communications module on the computer network if a measured value of a system parameter exceeds a threshold value.

Abstract: A method of operating an Internet of Things device is described. In the method, an electrical power is supplied to electrical circuitry in the Internet of Things device. The Internet of Things device is communicatively coupled to a computer network using circuitry of a transceiver and a communications module of the Internet of Things device. A detecting circuit is operated to indirectly monitor a level of activity of the communications module. If the level of activity of the communications module is determined to exceed a threshold value, a volume of communications between the Internet of Things device and the computer network is curtailed.
