摘要： A vehicle tailgate includes an internal panel, an upper panel, a lower panel, a pair of side panels, and a tie-down bracket. The internal panel extends from the upper panel to the lower panel and between the pair of side panels. The pair of side panels are rotatably secured to a cargo bed. The tie-down bracket is secured to an exterior of one of the side panels. The tie-down bracket defines a C-channel that extends along the exterior of one of the side panels from the upper panel toward the lower panel.

摘要： In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a vehicle cargo management system includes a body and a plurality of dividers. The body has a first pair of opposing sides and a second pair of opposing sides. The body forms a recess between the first and second pairs of opposing sides. Each side of the first pair of opposing sides includes a groove system, and a plurality of tabs that are configured to move within the groove system. The plurality of dividers are disposed within the recess of the body. Each of the plurality of dividers extends between the first pair of opposing sides, and each of the plurality of dividers is coupled to a respective one of the tabs. Movement of one of the tabs within the groove system causes a respective one of the dividers to move within the recess of the body.

摘要： A covering device for a storage compartment of a vehicle includes a cover that is slidably mounted for movement between a closed position and an open position. An actuating element is arranged on the cover for manually actuating the cover to be moved along a movement direction between the closed position and the open position. In the closed position a latching part of the cover engages a projection to lock the cover in the closed position. A spring bias is provided to bias the latching part of the cover into engagement with the projection when the cover is in the closed position. The latching part and the projection are engaged in such a way that a locking action of the latching part on the projection is released by manual actuation of the actuating element in the movement direction.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for adjusting the cargo area of a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a support structure having a track system. The track system includes a first track portion defining a first cargo floor position, a second track portion defining a second cargo floor position and a third track portion defining a cargo floor storage position. A tambour cargo deck is supported by the track system, and movable from the first or second cargo floor position to the cargo floor storage position, and movable from the cargo floor storage position to the first or second cargo floor position. In this way, the cargo area can be increased or decreased as desired. The method comprises sliding the tambour cargo deck from the first cargo floor position to the storage position and sliding the tambour cargo deck from the storage position to the second cargo floor position.

摘要： An apparatus is for extending a vehicle bed. A tailgate is provided for lowering to provide a tailgate opening for providing access to the vehicle bed. The tailgate includes a retractable member adapted for extending vertically from the tailgate when lowered. A retractable webbing is provided for associating with the retractable member and adapted for moving to a deployed position to at least partially span the tailgate opening in a lowered condition. A ladder for use in climbing into the vehicle bed may form the retractable member, or may be provided in addition to it. Plural webbings may also be provided for spanning multiple retractable members associated with the tailgate.
