摘要: A heated faucet cover configured to insulate and protect exterior faucets is disclosed. The cover is configured to provide heat to the faucet when the temperature lowered below a predetermined temperature. The faucet cover includes a housing with an outer shell. The cover further includes a heating system and a control device. The heating system includes one or more heat sources, for example, incandescent bulbs. The heat sources are securely positioned within the cavity of the housing and mounted on bases of the cover, which are electrically connected to the power supply via a power cord. The control device is a thermostatic control element, configured to control the operation of the heat sources. The control device activates the heat sources when the predetermined ambient temperature falls below 35° F. and shuts off when the predetermined ambient temperature is above 45° F., thereby preventing the faucets from freezing in cold weather conditions.

摘要: The present invention relates to a metal heater system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a metal heater system which is characterized in that a plurality of metal heaters is coupled to the surface of the lower end of a pipeline at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the pipeline and PTC heating elements inside the metal heaters conduct heat to local portions of the pipeline. Due to these characteristics, convection is generated in a fluid inside the pipeline because of the heat conducted to the local portions and thus the overall pipeline is maintained at a constant temperature, thereby efficiently preventing the freezing and bursting of the pipeline in winter.

摘要: A two-part sillcock includes interior and exterior sillcock members selectively coupled to actuate a valve that controls fluid flow to a faucet. The interior sillcock member includes a flanged housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve with a stem including a coupling at the outlet end. The coupling is supported within the housing by an adapter adjacent the outlet end. The exterior sillcock member includes a flanged faucet including a handle shaft with a coupling at the inlet end. An adapter adjacent the housing outlet supports the valve stem coupling and guides and receives the faucet handle shaft coupling for engagement of the couplings. When the exterior and interior sillcock flanges are connected, the faucet handle shaft coupling is connected with the valve stem coupling, so that movement of the handle controls operation of the valve. A dual two-part sillcock includes two sillcocks connected by a mixing assembly.

摘要: A system for controlling water delivery in to and out from a structure. A plurality of sensors disposed within the structure determine one or both of a water leak from a water delivery system within the structure and a temperature. A transmitter associated with each one of the plurality of sensors transmits a signal to a controller, the signal indicates a water leak from the water delivery system or a temperature below a predetermined value. A plurality of valves within the structure control the flow of water in to the structure, out from the structure, and within the structure. The controller receives the signal and responsive thereto opens or closes one or more valves to stop water delivery into the structure, to drain water out from the structure, or to control water delivery within the structure.

摘要: According to an example, a system for managing a fluid condition in a pipe includes a controller to receive temperatures of the pipe detected by the temperature sensor over a period of time. The controller may determine, based upon the temperatures of the pipe over the period of time, a temperature profile of the pipe and may determine that the temperature profile of the pipe indicates that a freezing onset event has occurred. The freezing onset event may include a transition from a drop in temperature to an increase in temperature, in which the temperature during the transition is below a freezing point temperature of a fluid contained in the pipe. The controller may further trigger at least one of an alarm and an activation of a first freezing prevention device in response to the determination that the freezing onset event has occurred.
