摘要： Specified is a water supply apparatus, a mixing apparatus (1) being provided for mixing, in a mixing container (3), water conveyed in the mixing apparatus (1). Arranged relative to the mixing container (3) is a base apparatus (2) which has a base chamber (9) that is hydraulically connected to a water pipe (11, 12, 13) of the water supply apparatus and has an opening to the surroundings. A sealing device (10) is installed in the base chamber (9) for the purpose of closing off the opening of the base chamber (9) from the surroundings. The sealing device (10) has a weak point wall region (17) whose pressure strength is lower than the pressure strength of wall regions of all the other components of the water supply apparatus which, in the operating state, enclose cavities that can be filled with water, and which separate these cavities that can be filled with water from the surroundings.

摘要： A system that automatically prevents freezing of a liquid in a plumbing network includes an electrical temperature sensor, an electromechanical shut-off valve, a pump (such as an air compressor pump and a vacuum pump) and an operatively connected computer. The computer determines if the temperature detected by the electrical temperature sensor is within a predetermined range of a threshold temperature. If so, the computer actuates the shut-off valve to prevent the liquid from flowing from a liquid source to a portion of the plumbing network, and actuates the pump to discharge the liquid from the portion of the plumbing network to the liquid drain. The computer may actuate additional electromechanical valves on the plumbing network to facilitate discharge of the liquid, and on a supply line to allow the liquid to continue circulating in the supply line.

摘要： A non-invasive thermal dispersion flow meter with chronometric monitor for fluid leak detection includes a heater, an ambient temperature sensor and a flow rate sensor which are configured to sense the temperature of a fluid in a conduit, and then monitor the flow of that fluid through the conduit. The fluid flow sensor is incorporated into a Wheatstone bridge circuit, which is used to provide increased sensitivity to the outputs of the sensors. Based upon the ambient temperature sensor readings, the flow rate sensor and heater may be adjusted to optimize the operation of the system to detect leaks. An alternative embodiment utilizes a single sensor and separate heater which work together to determine heat propagation times which in turn is used to calculate flow rate. Based on the sensor readings, the flow may be adjusted to prevent damage and leaks by relieving the system of excess pressure.

A water supply system includes a water pipe and an Internet of Things (IoT) tap device switchable between an open state and a closed state. An IoT temperature sensor is disposed on the water pipe to detect an environmental temperature of the water pipe and generate a corresponding temperature signal. The IoT tap device is communicatively connected to the at least one IoT temperature sensor. In operation, the IoT tap device requests and receives the temperature signal from the temperature sensor, and determines the environmental temperature based on the temperature signal. When the environmental temperature is at or below a threshold temperature, such as a freezing point of water, the IoT tap device controls its tap to switch to the open state such that water flows or drips out from the tap.

The helical heating ribs may comprise hollow channels through which a heating liquid may be passed to further heat the fluid contained in the pipe.

The cable passes through a fitting where it is connected to a power supply. The connection between the power supply and the heating cable is encapsulated within the fitting, and the metal sheath is secured to the fitting with a permanent connection. A bushing is provided to support the connection between the resistance wires and the power supply within the fitting. The elongate sheath may be inserted into a fluid line and the fitting connected to that line using a mechanical connection.
