摘要: A coin processing apparatus including a coin identification unit, a coin sort unit, a plurality of coin tubes, a coin payment unit, an initial replenishment coin tube storing coins of a predetermined initial replenishment coin number in an initial replenishment state, an increase coin tube not storing the coins in the initial replenishment state, and an initial replenishment state setting unit causing an apparatus body to recognize the initial replenishment state. The coin sort unit sorts the coins of the initial replenishment coin number into the initial replenishment coin tube and sorts coins more than the coins corresponding to the initial replenishment coin number into the increase coin tube. The coin payment unit pays the coins preferentially from the increase coin tube.

摘要: To provide a coin dispensing device which suppresses the maximum consumption current when coins are dispensed from a plurality of coin tubes in one dispensing operation.A coin dispensing device includes a plurality of coin tubes 6 storing coins, a coin withdrawing and discharging part 8, a change part which locates a change lever 12 at a dispensing preventing position, in which the coin withdrawing and discharging part 8 is prevented from discharging the coins, by energizing a change lever solenoid 13 and locates the change lever 12 at a dispensing allowing position, in which the coin withdrawing and discharging part 8 is allowed to discharge the coins, by a biasing force of a return spring when the energizing of the change lever solenoid 13 is stopped, and a keeping means 15 which keeps a state of the change lever 12. The coin withdrawing and discharging part 8 withdraws and discharges the coins when the keeping means 15 keeps the state of the change lever 12 and the energizing of the change lever solenoid 13 is stopped.

摘要: During recording of data on a recording medium, tracking is performed using auxiliary beams to refer to guide tracks as done in the conventional three-beam method. During reproduction of data from the recording medium, tracking is performed using a main beam to refer to a data pit recorded in a recording track in accordance with the push-pull method. In addition, there are provided two tracking control circuits based on the three-beam method and push-pull method, and the use of tracking control signals based on the three-beam and push-pull methods that are output from the two circuits is selected via a switch.

摘要: Each information recording track has pre-formatted fore and rear header sections containing address information identifying the track, which permit each of the recording tracks to be accessed from either of the header sections. A predetermined synchronization signal is pre-formatted in a storing area for each frame having a predetermined data size, so that information can be non-rewritably recorded onto the storing area for a predetermined frame by referring to the pre-formatted synchronization signal. With this arrangement, data can be recorded onto a selected information recording track in either of the directions of relative reciprocating movement of the recording medium to a recording/reproducing head, and thus the recording speed can be increased. The arrangement also allows data to be recorded even when one of the header sections has become unreadable due to some defect of the recording medium, and prevents occurrence of jitters in reproduced signals by allowing data to be recorded accurately at predetermined locations for each of the frames.

摘要: For recording or reproduction of information, the optical beam is moved relative to the recording medium along the longitudinal direction of a certain track. When accessing another track, the relative movement of the light beam along the longitudinal direction of the track is decelerated, and during this deceleration, the light beam is started to move in the direction transverse to the tracks toward the desired track. Thus, it is not necessary to wait for such time when the relative movement of the light beam along the longitudinal direction of the track has been completely stopped, and hence the necessary accessing time can substantially be reduced. If control is made to cause a decelerating rate of the relative movement to decrease continuously gradually or stepwise from a relatively high decelerating rate to a relatively low rate and the light beam is caused to start relatively moving toward the desired track while the relative movement is at the relatively low decelerating rate, it is allowed to effectively suppress occurrence of unwanted mechanical vibration due to abrupt deceleration of the relative movement.

摘要: In a tracking or focusing servo control loop, there are provided a switch element for switch-controlling a tracking or focusing error signal, and a smoothing circuit for switching passage the error signal. An amount of detected reflection from an optical recording medium is monitored by a controller section, and the switching action of the switch element is ON/OFF-controlled by the controller section so as to maintain a servo loop gain at a predetermined standard. Thus, it is possible to maintain a constant servo loop gain without being influenced by variation in the laser light amount or difference in reflectivity characteristics of the recording layers of individual optical recording media, and constantly stable tracking servo control and/or focusing servo control can be performed.

摘要: Coin processing apparatus electromagnetically tests an inserted coin, separates genuine coins from counterfeit coins by a first pathway switching mechanism, and stores genuine coins in change tubes and a cash-box by a second pathway switching mechanism, according to the type of coin. The pathway along which the coins pass is provided with pass sensors at two positions therein, where one pass sensor detects the coins and the other pass sensor controls the operation of the second pathway switching mechanism in such as manner as to prevent passing coins from becoming trapped therein. The second pathway switching mechanism is operated after a predetermined time has elapsed from the fall of a detection signal from a pass sensor, to end the flow of current through and thereby prevent overheating of a solenoid therein.

摘要: A bill identification apparatus which is hardly subject to decision errors attributable to fluctuations of detected data caused by aging or partial soiling of bills. In identifying a bill, physical properties pi for various positions i on the bill are detected in synchronism with the transportation speed of the bill, a correction value pm for making an average value for an inspection section for the detected data pi equal to an average value for an inspection section for standard pattern values pci is obtained, and the detected data pi are corrected by using the correction value pm, thereby eliminating fluctuations of the data attributable to general deterioration or soiling of the bill or detectors. Also, the authenticity and type of the bill are discriminated by computing a heterogeneity pr on the basis of a statistical synthetic evaluation of the correlation between the standard pattern value pci and the detected data pi for each position i, whereby wrong classification and authentication attributable to partial data errors can be prevented.
