摘要: In a tracking or focusing servo control loop, there are provided a switch element for switch-controlling a tracking or focusing error signal, and a smoothing circuit for switching passage the error signal. An amount of detected reflection from an optical recording medium is monitored by a controller section, and the switching action of the switch element is ON/OFF-controlled by the controller section so as to maintain a servo loop gain at a predetermined standard. Thus, it is possible to maintain a constant servo loop gain without being influenced by variation in the laser light amount or difference in reflectivity characteristics of the recording layers of individual optical recording media, and constantly stable tracking servo control and/or focusing servo control can be performed.

摘要: In an optical information recording and reproducing apparatus, the recording operation is interrupted when an information pit, dust, scratch, stain, etc. is present on an optical recording medium. However, the recording operation is resumed and kept continued when a dust, scratch, stain, etc. other than the information pit is present on the medium. The apparatus comprises a double recording detecting circuit for detecting a pseudo double recording signal generated by a dust, scratch, stain, etc. on the medium at a period of a recording operation; and a recording signal supply circuit for interrupting the recording operation when the double recording detecting circuit detects the pseudo double recording signal to switch the recording period to a monitor period, for maintaining the interruption of the recording operation when a real double recording signal generated by an information pit is detected at the monitor period, and for resuming the recording operation when the real double recording signal generated by an information pit is not detected at the monitor period. After the recording operation has been resumed and further when the pseudo double recording signal generated by a dust, scratch, stain, etc. still remaining on the medium is detected, the monitor and recording periods are repeated alternately. However, after the medium has become free from a dust, scratch, stain, etc. finally and therefore the real and pseudo double recording signals are not both generated, the recording operation is kept continued normally.

摘要: An optical information recording and reproducing method and device, whereby it is possible to prevent reduction in information recording capacity of an optical card and increase in recording and reproduction time due to track jump operations, and there is no occurrence of track jumping errors due to oscillations associated with acceleration and deceleration of the relative speed of movement between the optical card and an optical head. A region where the optical head and optical card are moved at a constant speed relative to each other is provided in the acceleration or deceleration of the relative speed of movement, and a track jump operation is implemented in this region.

摘要: For recording or reproduction of information, the optical beam is moved relative to the recording medium along the longitudinal direction of a certain track. When accessing another track, the relative movement of the light beam along the longitudinal direction of the track is decelerated, and during this deceleration, the light beam is started to move in the direction transverse to the tracks toward the desired track. Thus, it is not necessary to wait for such time when the relative movement of the light beam along the longitudinal direction of the track has been completely stopped, and hence the necessary accessing time can substantially be reduced. If control is made to cause a decelerating rate of the relative movement to decrease continuously gradually or stepwise from a relatively high decelerating rate to a relatively low rate and the light beam is caused to start relatively moving toward the desired track while the relative movement is at the relatively low decelerating rate, it is allowed to effectively suppress occurrence of unwanted mechanical vibration due to abrupt deceleration of the relative movement.

摘要: An internal operation of RF IC is adjusted so that the level of an RF transmitter signal is substantially stopped from rising, or made to descend in course of ramp-up of the RF transmitter signal. This adjustment is enabled by ramp-up adjustment data Last 4 symbols contained in preamble data precedent to real transmission data transmitted after completion of ramp-up. The ramp-up adjustment data and real transmission data are supplied from a baseband LSI. The RF transmitter signal contains phase and amplitude modulation components according to the EDGE system. RF IC includes phase and amplitude modulation control loops PM LP and AM LP. Ramp-up of RF power amplifiers PA1 and PA2 is performed by controlling the gain of the first variable amplifier MVGA included in the AM LP according to ramp information. Thus, unwanted radiation's level is reduced during ramp-up of the RF transmitter signal of the RF power amplifiers.

摘要: A market-demand-forecasting-value calculation section acquires order entry actual achievement data from an order-entry-actual-achievement-data storing unit of an order receiving system, and calculates a market demand forecasting value using the order entry actual achievement data. A correction safety inventory quantity calculation section calculates an error rate, which becomes negative when an ordering required-quantity becomes large, based on a number of ordered parts and a past ordering required-quantity. Subsequently, the correction safety inventory quantity calculation section calculates a correction safety inventory quantity using the error rate and the market demand forecasting value and a money-amount-zone index value. Further, the correction safety inventory quantity calculation section calculates a determined safety inventory quantity which is a value obtained by adding the correction safety inventory quantity and a reference safety inventory quantity calculated based on the market demand forecasting value.

摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit having a built-in PLL circuit which has two charge pump circuits for charging and discharging capacitive elements of a loop filter in response to signals generated by a phase comparator circuit. One of the two charge pump circuits has current sources which generate current values smaller than those generated by current sources of the other charge pump circuit. The loop filter has a first capacitive element connected to a charge/discharge node, and a second capacitive element connected to the charge/discharge node through a resistive element. The first capacitive element is charged and discharged by the one charge pump circuit, while the second capacitive element is charged and discharged by the other charge pump circuit. A charging current source of the one charge pump circuit operates simultaneously with a discharging current source of the other charge pump circuit, i.e., the charge pump circuits operate in opposite phase.
