摘要: In accordance with the following description, an optical communication connector includes a ferrule having retractable alignment pins that are actuable between an extended position and a retracted position. For example, the connector may include an inner housing assembly having optical fibers and an outer housing positioned over the inner housing assembly. The outer housing is shaped to be removable from the inner housing assembly, which has a movable pin clamp mechanically coupled to alignment pins for aligning the connector with another connector. The pin clamp may be slid from a first position (corresponding to a male gender) to a second position (corresponding to a female gender). Separately or in combination with changing gender, the polarity of a communication connector may be changed due to its inclusion of an asymmetric polarity-changing feature that is actuable by an installer to change a polarity of the communication connector. Such a feature may actuated by being moved from a first position to a second position relative to the communication connector.

摘要: A cable cleat system that secures cables to a ladder rack. The cable cleat system includes a mounting bracket assembly with a bracket body and a floating support bracket slidably mounted to the bracket body. A metal locking tie is positioned between the floating support bracket and the mounting bracket assembly. The mounting bracket assembly is secured to a ladder rung of the ladder rack and the floating support bracket supports the cables secured to the ladder rack. The metal locking tie wraps around the cables supported by the floating support bracket. The floating support bracket and the metal locking tie slide along the bracket body for enabling thermal expansion and contraction of the cables secured to the ladder rack.

摘要: A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

摘要: A vertical cable manager includes a base frame and a door. The base frame has upper and lower support legs and upper and lower crossbars between the support legs. The door has retractable hinge pins at corners of the door. The crossbars have hinge rod receptacles to receive respective hinge pins and elastic latch members having a flexible arm and a catch portion. The catch portions secure the hinge pins in the hinge rod receptacles with the door closed and are deflectable through elastic deformation of the flexible arm to allow travel of the hinge pins through the hinge rod receptacles and past the catch portions when the door is moved from an open to a closed position.

摘要: A terminal block marker designed to identify a terminal block. The terminal block marker includes a rigid base and a flexible film insert. The rigid base includes a top with a first arm having a first inwardly extending projection and a second arm having a second inwardly extending projection. The rigid base also includes a bottom with legs extending in a direction opposite the arms to hold the terminal block marker in the terminal block. A flexible film insert with identification markings is installed on the rigid base. The flexible film insert is positioned under a first projection of the first arm and rotated downward until the flexible film insert snaps under the second projection of the second arm. The first and second projections retain the flexible film insert on the rigid base to form the terminal block marker.
