An indicator for example for indicating the presence of an electric cable, comprises a number of elements which are preformed into a helix of such size as to engage the cable,the elements being opened-out during part of their length to define a surface which is formed by a sheet of material secured to and extending between the elements. Fig. 1 shows a suspended electric power cable 20 with an indicator 10 which is spherical in shape and consists of a number of segments 30 of brightly coloured plastic, fibreglass, aluminium or like material. The segments are held by plastic covered wires which are helically preformed at their end portions so as to grip the cable 20 and are opened-out at a portion intermediate their ends to support segments 90. A gap 40 provides drainage for any moisture and also provide wind passages. A wire strap, Fig. 3 (not shown) may be fixed to the wire elements to maintain a desired spatial relationship between them. In a further modification, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown) the wires are replaced by rods, for example of plastic, spaced apart by plastic straps. Specifications 781,670 and 817, 535 are referred to.

    摘要： A clamp for suspending a wire includes a housing having an inner support surface. The wire is disposed between the inner support surface and a keeper. The clamp further includes a fastening unit, including a first fastener and a second fastener attachable to the first fastener. The housing defines an opening extending in a direction along which the wire is received within the housing. After the second fastener is attached to the first fastener, the fastening unit is not removable from the housing. The fastening unit is movable, within the opening, between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the fastening unit cooperates with the keeper to decrease a distance between the inner support surface and the keeper. In the second position, the fastening unit does not cooperate with the keeper to decrease the distance.

    摘要： A cable spacer for maintaining positions of a plurality of cables relative to each other is provided. The cable spacer includes a frame, a hanger and a plurality of clamps that couple the plurality of cables to the frame to maintain the positions of the plurality of cables relative to each other. A first clamp includes a receiver with a first arcuate surface, and a keeper that is adjustably coupled to the receiver to be adjusted from a first position to a second position to interfere with removal of the region of the first cable from the first concave pocket. A locking system adjusts the keeper from the first position to the second position relative to the receiver, and maintains the keeper in the second position to exert a compressive force on the first cable, urging the first cable into the first concave pocket.
