摘要： In a tensioner having a housing and a plunger protruding in an advancing direction from a plunger-accommodating hole formed in the housing. The plunger has a cylindrical outer wall for sliding contact with the wall of the plunger-accommodating hole, and a tapered the rear end wall. A small clearance between the cylindrical outer wall of the plunger and the wall of the plunger-accommodating hole allows the plunger to become inclined by a small amount, which increases as the plunger advances. The angle of the taper at a boundary where the end wall meets the cylindrical outer wall is substantially equal to the maximum inclination of the plunger when the plunger is in its fully advanced condition.

摘要： There is provided a silent chain that is reduced in weight and widthwise size by reducing the length of a short pin while preventing the occurrence of excessive stress concentration in the short pin of a rocker pin including a long pin and the short pin. The short pin of the rocker pin extends through all plates of the guide row and all plates of the non-guide row in the width direction. The short pin is provided with a first stopper, and a second stopper. A first end surface of the short pin is prevented from being positioned in a first adjacent pin hole by contact between the first stopper and the first contact portion, and a second end surface of the short pin is prevented from being positioned in a second adjacent pin hole by contact between the second stopper and the second contact portion.

摘要： In a silent chain transmission, noise performance is improved by preventing guide plates of a silent chain from contacting sprocket teeth before the link plates of the chain contact the sprocket teeth. The silent chain transmission comprises a silent chain in engagement with a sprocket. The silent chain comprises guide rows, each having a pair of guide plates and a plurality of middle link plates, and non-guide rows, each having a plurality of inner link plates. An engagement starting point of the middle link plate with a sprocket tooth and an engagement starting point of the inner link plate with the sprocket tooth are set at positions such that the guide plate is prevented from contacting the sprocket tooth before the respective link plates start to engage the sprocket tooth when runout of the chain in the direction of its width occurs.

The chain conveyor includes a pushing-up mechanism for pushing up each roller to a protruding position. The mating protrusions 161 and 171 are elastic mating elements. The lateral interlock structure and the opposite interlock structure are a snap-fit joint in which a meshed state is achieved through elastic deformation of the mating protrusions 161 and 171 that occurs in a moving process during assembly.
