摘要: A snubber for an automotive transmission includes a generally flat surface configured to limit radially-outward movement of a drive member that transfers torque from a transmission gearbox output to a differential input. A mouth of the snubber is fluidly coupled to an internal cavity that capturing transmission fluid as the fluid is moved around due to movement of the drive member. A wing of the snubber extends from the generally flat surface toward the drive member. The wing has a hollow interior fluidly coupled to the internal cavity. A concave outer surface is located outside of and adjacent to the mouth. The concave surface deflects a portion of the fluid, preventing that portion from entering the mouth. This increases the flow of fluid away from the drive member which can lead to drag.

摘要: A chain drive for an internal combustion engine comprises a driving sprocket and at least one driven sprocket, a drive chain coupling the sprockets to each other, and at least one guide rail and/or one tensioning rail for guiding and/or tensioning the drive chain. At least the guide rail and/or the tensioning rail comprises at least two slide elements, arranged at a non-guided distance from one another for contacting the drive chain, such that at least two slide elements are arranged in at least one span of the chain drive. In at least one span, the ratio of guided chain length to non-guided chain length is smaller than 1. Such a chain drive is to be improved with respect to its vibration characteristics. To this end, the sum of the two non-guided lengths of the drive chain between a slide element and the respective nearest sprocket is, in at least one span, which is in contact with a guide rail and/or a tensioning rail with at least two slide elements arranged at a non-guided distance from one another, smaller than 0.5 times the total length of the respective span.

摘要: A belt device includes an endless belt and a rotary driver contacting an outer circumferential surface of the belt to drive and rotate the belt. An opposed belt support is disposed opposite the rotary driver and in contact with an inner circumferential surface of the belt. A rotary belt support is disposed opposite the rotary driver via the opposed belt support and in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the belt. A belt support holder holds the opposed belt support and the rotary belt support to retain a predetermined interval between the opposed belt support and the rotary belt support. A biasing assembly presses against the belt support holder to move the opposed belt support and the rotary belt support collectively with respect to the rotary driver and bias the opposed belt support against the rotary driver.

摘要: To provide a chain guide that implements stable running of a chain, causes less wear or damage on the inner surface of mounting holes or on mounting shafts, and improves the durability of a reinforcing plate thereof without increasing production cost. A guide shoe includes a guide rail and a plate holding part accommodating a reinforcing plate inserted thereinto from the backside of the guide rail. The base member has a base mounting portion and base wall portions formed to sandwich the guide shoe from both sides in a width direction. The guide shoe has a guide shoe mounting portion at a position apart from the base mounting portion in the chain running direction.
