Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for selecting a card, lot, or number using a shuffling process that relies on measurements of movement, biometrics, or environmental data within interactive electronic media. The invention provides an alternative to random number generators for media which relies on random selection outputs such as divination tools or a game of chance. The incorporation of a user's movement or environmental data into the selection process provides an element of interest and amusement. The present invention also provides for a selection method that reliably generates a unique selection upon each use by utilizing precise measurements and mathematical formulas to catalogue and shuffle the cards or lots in a system.
Abstract:
This invention is an advanced toilet/bidet with a remote toilet seat that stores both the majority of the bidet hardware and an advanced software program, providing a toilet seat that is thinner and lighter than a traditional toilet/bidet combination. The toilet seat has a bidet nozzle, and an internal cavity in which additional hardware and software is stored. The toilet seat has sensors the record health-related data on each user and has a unique cleaning mechanism to ensures the highest sanitary standards.
Abstract:
A user controlled power assisted device to automate snowboard and wideboard recreational snow devices to make turning easier and more consistent for the user, while viewing the line of travel straight ahead instead of the conventional sideways view. The user simply presses one foot or the other down to enable the proper edging to effect the desired turn. The user's foot pressing rotates the control shaft, which electronically communicates via the pot, motor controller, battery, and motor. The motor then proportionally rotates the drive shaft accordingly to rotate the device longitudinally which provides proper edging to effect the desired turn. The motor rotates around the control shaft to reduce torque backpressure on the board.
Abstract:
Wireless user device probe data can be used to infer or determine an attribute of a user. The probe data can be captured by a sensor device from probes wirelessly transmitted by the user device to search for wireless access points. The probe data can include network addresses of the wireless access points to which the user device has wirelessly connected. The probe data can also include connection information about wireless links between the user device and the wireless access points. The probe data and a user device identifier can be transmitted to a computing device that can compare the probe data to access point network addresses associated with attributes in an electronic data store to determine an attribute for a user of the user device.
Abstract:
A directional microphone array which can be integrated into a case for a portable computing device. A microphone array board connects to a surface of a laptop computer, tablet computer or smart phone, which can be steered in the direction of a target source. An audio processing module (APM) is operably engaged with the array board to receive a first staged beamformed audio input from the array board, and process a second beamformed stage audio output.
Abstract:
A method for logging of a remote control session, for use in a remote control system comprising a session initiator operable to initiate a remote control session having a session identifier between a first computer and a second computer and a generator for generating a secure data structure comprising a data structure identifier, the method comprising the steps of: in response to generation by the generator of the secure data structure, initiating an associated first remote control session having a first session identifier; capturing data associated with a remote control function executable by a first computer for control of the second computer during the remote control session; obtaining the data structure identifier; and using the data structure identifier and the first session identifier to store the captured data in the secure data structure associated with the remote control session.
Abstract:
A cabinet structure for a switchgear assembly. The cabinet structure includes a cabinet having upper and lower vents and a breaker cradle for holding a circuit breaker having primary disconnects for connecting the circuit breaker to bus bars. The cabinet further includes an air passageway located between the upper and lower vents, wherein the air passageway extends vertically through the primary disconnects and the cabinet. Further, the cabinet includes a fan module having at least one fan for drawing outside air through the lower vent, the air passageway and the primary disconnects for cooling the primary disconnects.
