Abstract:
Exemplary methods, systems and components disclosed herein provide propagation of light signals from an external source to a borehole mining mole which includes an optical/electric transducer configured to provide propulsive power for the borehole mining mole and its associated mineral prospecting tools. Some embodiments include one or more umbilicals connected from a remote source location to an onboard reel incorporated with the borehole mining mole. The umbilicals are spooled outwardly or inwardly from the onboard reel during traverse of the borehole mining mole along a path in an earthen environment.
Abstract:
Described embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product. A described system includes a receiver circuit configured to receive a medical image that includes a region of interest of a mammalian body part, and a reference image that includes a landmark subsurface feature of the mammalian body part, the landmark subsurface feature having a spatial relationship to the region of interest. The system includes a registration circuit configured to register the region of interest and the landmark subsurface feature of the mammalian body part. The system includes a computer-readable, recordable-type media configured to maintain informational data corresponding to the registration of the region of interest and the landmark subsurface feature of the mammalian body part.
Abstract:
Described embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product. A described system includes a receiver circuit that receives a first reference image that includes an objective landmark subsurface feature of a mammalian body part, and a second reference image that includes a present-location landmark subsurface feature of the mammalian body part. A feature matching circuit determines a substantial correspondence between the objective landmark subsurface feature and a first atlas subsurface feature, and a substantial correspondence between the present-location landmark subsurface feature and a second atlas subsurface feature. A location analysis circuit determines a fourth spatial relationship between the destination region of interest and a distal end portion of the body-insertable device deployed operationally proximate to the mammalian body part. An indicator circuit generates informational data indicative of the determined fourth spatial relationship. The system includes a computer-readable media configured to maintain the informational data.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to systems configured to determine an amount of alcohol in an alcohol-containing liquid discharged from a drinking vessel or an amount of the alcohol-containing liquid discharged from the drinking vessel, drinking vessels configured to measure alcohol content or other property of an alcohol-containing liquid held therein, other related components such as mat devices that facilitate determining the amount, and related methods. The systems, drinking vessels, and methods disclosed herein facilitate determination of an amount of alcohol in an alcohol-containing liquid discharged from a drinking vessel or an amount of alcohol-containing liquid discharged from the drinking vessel, which may be indicative of an amount of alcohol consumed by a drinker.
Abstract:
A system may include a means for administering a therapeutic agent to a subject; a means for administering a first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant to the subject at least substantially concurrent with the therapeutic agent, the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant having a pharmacokinetic profile; and a means for administering a second pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant to the subject with the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant, the second pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant having a pharmacokinetic profile different from the pharmacokinetic profile of the first pharmaceutically-acceptable taggant.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses, computer program products, devices and systems are described that carry out accepting at least one persona from a party to a transaction; evaluating the transaction; and negotiating receipt of at least one different persona from the party to the transaction at least partly based on an evaluation of the transaction.
Abstract:
Systems, devices, admixtures, and methods are described including transponder devices (e.g., a palatable transponder, an edible transponder, a palatable radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, an edible RFID tag, etc.) for admixing with a food product.
Abstract:
