摘要: A power harvesting system including multiple parallel-connected photovoltaic strings, each photovoltaic string includes a series-connection of photovoltaic panels. Multiple voltage-compensation circuits may be connected in series respectively with the photovoltaic strings. The voltage-compensation circuits may be configured to provide respective compensation voltages to the photovoltaic strings to maximize power harvested from the photovoltaic strings. The voltage-compensation circuits may be include respective inputs which may be connected to a source of power and respective outputs which may be connected in series with the photovoltaic strings.

摘要: A photovoltaic module including a photovoltaic panel and an electrical circuit connected thereto. The photovoltaic panel may include multiple bus bars connected to an input of the electrical circuit. The electrical circuit may include at least one input bypass circuit connected across the bus bars at the input of the electrical circuit. Circuitry may include a switch connected between the input and the output of the electrical circuit. The circuitry may function to disconnect the photovoltaic panel from the output of the electrical circuit. An output bypass circuit is connected to the output of the electrical circuit. The output of the electrical circuit is connectible to a second like electrical circuit of a second like photovoltaic module. The output bypass circuit may be an active bypass circuit which draws power from the output of the electrical circuit.

摘要: An order may be received for an apparatus such as a power converter or other power device, where the apparatus may be housed in a packing box. A configuration device may be programmed with information responsive to details of the order and an ID associated with the apparatus. A label or other identifying object may be created or configured (e.g., printed) and attached to the apparatus or may otherwise accompany the apparatus prior to dispatch of the packing box. The label may provide details of operating parameters of the apparatus responsive to the details of the order. Upon receipt and unpacking of the packing box, the configuration device may be connected to the apparatus, thereby to causing the apparatus to become configured.

The methods may measure voltage, current, and/or power delivered to the load or system power device, and the methods may measure voltage noise or current noise within the photovoltaic system. The methods may periodically, and/or in response to detecting noise, reduce an electrical parameter such as current or voltage in order to extinguish an arc. The methods may compare one or more measurements to one or more thresholds to detect arcing, and upon a comparison indicating that arcing is or was present, an alarm condition may be set.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and/or methods for operation of a switched capacitor converter (SCC). The SCC may include a resonant circuit including an inductor. Aspects of the disclosure include methods for controlling the SCC switches (e.g., modulation methods) to decrease switching losses associated with operating the converter and to increase efficiency of the SCC. According to some aspects, a control method may be used to switch converter switches under zero-voltage conditions.
