In one example, a disclosed method comprises: detecting a mobile device connected to a slot; automatically determining whether the mobile device is valid based on data in a file system; upon determining that the mobile device is valid, automatically determining an operating system managing the mobile device; and automatically removing customer data of the mobile device based on the operating system.

摘要: The present disclosure includes methods, devices and systems for establishing a connection between a medical device and a remote computing device, receiving an upgrade command at the medical device, storing a current version of persistent data and a current version of executable code in a first storage area of the medical device, transmitting at least the current version of the persistent data to the remote computing device, receiving a second format of the current version of the persistent data and an upgraded version of executable code at the medical device, storing the second format of the current version of the persistent data and the upgraded version of the executable code in a second storage area of the medical device, and executing the upgraded version of the executable code with the second format of the current version of the persistent data.

摘要: Seamless peripheral selection and switching can be provided in a workspace. When a peripheral is to be updated while it is in use, an agent can select another peripheral in the same device class and seamlessly switch to using the selected peripheral while the update is applied. The agent can then seamlessly switch back to using the updated peripheral after the update is complete. In some cases, an update can be applied to a peripheral before a user created a workspace that includes the peripheral.

摘要: A computer system includes one or more processors and machine readable storage media coupled to the one or more processors having instructions stored therein that cause the computer system to: receive a payment request packet from an Internet of Things (IoT) device; extract a signature of the payment request packet that includes metadata; identify a firmware update status from the metadata of the signature; determine that the IoT device has a first version of the firmware installed on the IoT device based on the firmware update status; cause a second version of the firmware to be installed on the IoT device in response to determining the IoT device has the first version of the firmware; and initiate a transaction based on the payment request packet responsive to the second version of the firmware being installed on the IoT device.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for starting a computing device, a computing device, and a program product. The method includes: acquiring type information on a plurality of host bus adapter (HBA) cards of the computing device; determining a first group of HBA cards in the plurality of HBA cards based on the type information; and starting an operating system of the computing device by preventing scanning of disks connected to the first group of HBA cards. In this way, the number of storage apparatuses that need to be scanned before starting the operating system is reduced, and the starting of the operating system of the computing device is accelerated.

摘要: A server is configured to distribute update data for software for an electronic control unit mounted on a vehicle. The server includes: a storage device that stores device identification information in which information that specifies a communication module mounted on the vehicle and information that specifies a portable terminal configured to communicate with an update control device mounted on the vehicle are associated with each other, and the update data; and a processor configured to determine whether communication with the update control device is possible, and transmit the update data to the portable terminal that is associated with the communication module when the determination unit determines that the communication with the update control device is not possible.

摘要: Technologies for dividing work across one or more accelerator devices include a compute device. The compute device is to determine a configuration of each of multiple accelerator devices of the compute device, receive a job to be accelerated from a requester device remote from the compute device, and divide the job into multiple tasks for a parallelization of the multiple tasks among the one or more accelerator devices, as a function of a job analysis of the job and the configuration of each accelerator device. The compute engine is further to schedule the tasks to the one or more accelerator devices based on the job analysis and execute the tasks on the one or more accelerator devices for the parallelization of the multiple tasks to obtain an output of the job.

摘要: A first firmware source code portion corresponding to an immutable firmware portion of specific firmware to be deployed with embedded devices is identified. A second different firmware source code portion corresponding to a mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware to be deployed with the embedded devices is identified. The first firmware source code portion is used to generate the immutable firmware portion of the specific firmware. The second firmware source code portion is used to generate the mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware. The immutable firmware portion of the specific firmware is caused to be installed in fixed storage drives of an embedded device in the embedded devices. The mutable firmware portion of the specific firmware is caused to be installed in swappable storage drives of the same embedded device.

摘要: Disclosed embodiments relate to opportunistically updating Electronic Control Unit (ECU) software in a vehicle. Operations may include receiving, at a controller in a vehicle, a wireless transmission indicating a need to update software running on at least one ECU in the vehicle; monitoring an operational status of the vehicle to determine whether the vehicle is in a first mode of operation in which an ECU software update is prohibited; delaying the ECU software update when the operational status is prohibited; continuing to monitor the operational status of the vehicle to determine whether the vehicle is in a second mode of operation in which the ECU software update is permitted; and enabling updating of the at least one ECU with the delayed ECU software update when it is determined that the vehicle is in the second mode of operations.
