    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode control information of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) received via a resource within a control resource set (CORESET) occupying a subset of a plurality of OFDM symbols within a slot. At least one of the symbols in the subset coincides with a pre-defined symbol location associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) of a PDSCH. The DM-RS can be detected within the slot, the DM-RS starting at a symbol location that is shifted from the pre-defined symbol location and following the subset of symbols. Downlink data scheduled by the PDCCH and received via the PDSCH can be decoded, where the decoding is based on the detected DM-RS.

    Abstract: Provided herein are method and apparatus for perform radio link monitoring (RLM) based on a Reference signal (RS). An embodiment provides a user Equipment (UE) comprising circuitry configured to: decode a Reference Signal (RS) received from an access node; and determine beam quality for one or more beam pair links (BPLs) of the RS between the UE and the access node based on the decoded RS, wherein each of the BPLs comprises a transmit (Tx) beam of the access node and a receive (Rx) beam of the UE. Also provided is a procedure of RLM. At least some embodiments allow for beam recovery request for UE beam refinement, and allow for determining whether radio link failure (RLF) occurs.

    Abstract: Support of Single-Cell Point-To-Multipoint (SC-PTM) for narrowband (UEs) and low complexity (BL) UEs can is implemented at both the physical layers and the higher layers. For example, in one implementation, a UE may transmit, to a Single-Cell Point-To-Multipoint (SC-PTM) base station, multicast service preference information, including at least one of a Coverage Enhancement (CE) mode or a maximum Transport Block Size (TBS) of the UE. The UE may also monitor a common search space (CSS) of a MTC Physical Downlink Control Channel (MPDCCH) or Narrowband Physical Data Control Channel (NPDCCH) for the scheduling of a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) or a Narrowband Physical Downlink Shared Channel (NPDSCH), respectively, to obtain downlink control information (DCI) that includes configuration information relating to a Single-Cell Multicast Control Channel (SC-MCCH).

    Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), an Evolved Node-B (eNB), and methods for communication of uplink messages are generally described herein. The UE may receive, from an eNB, one or more downlink control messages that may indicate an allocation of PUCCH channel resources. The UE may transmit an uplink control message in at least a portion of the allocated PUCCH channel resources. When the PUCCH channel resources are allocated according to an edge configuration, the PUCCH channel resources may be restricted to a lower edge portion and an upper edge portion of the network channel resources. When the PUCCH channel resources are allocated according to a distributed configuration, the PUCCH channel resources may include one or more middle portions of the network channel resources. The middle portions may be exclusive to the lower edge and upper edge portions.

    Abstract: HARQ feedback configuration techniques for broadband wireless communication networks are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a memory and logic for user equipment (UE), at least a portion of the logic implemented in circuitry coupled to the memory, the logic to identify a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) bundling window associated with a received downlink (DL) scheduling command, identify one or more HARQ feedback configuration parameters based on HARQ feedback configuration information comprised in the DL scheduling command, the one or more identified HARQ feedback configuration parameters to include a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format for use in transmission of HARQ feedback for the HARQ feedback bundling window, the logic to generate the HARQ feedback for transmission to an evolved node B (eNB) according to the PUCCH format.     Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for communicating in a cellular communications network, including provision of a user equipment comprising processing circuitry to: receive from a first cell a control signal comprising a physical Time Division Duplex Uplink-Downlink configuration indicator channel (PTCICH); decode from the PTCICH a Time Division Duplex Uplink-Downlink (TDD UL-DL) configuration; and communicate with the first cell having applied the TDD UL-DL configuration in respect of subframes associated with the first cell, wherein: the PTCICH spans less than or equal to 32 Resource Elements. Also user equipment comprising processing circuitry to: receive a control signal from a first cell; decode the control signal received from the first cell thereby to determine a second cell TDD UL-DL configuration; and communicate with the second cell having applied the second cell TDD UL-DL configuration in respect of subframes associated with the second cell.
