Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for ensuring, for a unified TCI framework, a MAC CE format for associating code-point of a TCI field, and a TCI state for DL/UL beam indications. A UE can receive a MAC CE for associating at least one TCI state with at least one code-point of a TCI field in a DCI, wherein the MAC CE comprises at least a first octet including a first TCI state ID field associated with a first TCI state and a first field indicating DL or UL for the first TCI state, a second octet including a second TCI state ID field associated with a second TCI state and a second field indicating DL or UL for the second TCI state, and a third octet including a third field for the UE to determine whether the first TCI state and the second TCI state are associated with a same code-point or different code-points of the TCI field.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a second User Equipment (UE) for performing sidelink communication. In one embodiment, the method includes the second UE being (pre-)configured with a sidelink resource pool in a carrier or cell, wherein a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) pattern is associated to the sidelink resource pool. The method also includes the second UE selecting a resource in the sidelink resource pool based on the DRX pattern, wherein a specific message becomes available for transmission in the second UE. The method further includes the second UE transmitting the specific message on the resource to a plurality of UEs comprising at least a first UE.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for providing control resource set configuration in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method, a network node transmits a signal indicating at least a first duration and a bit map, wherein the first duration is time duration of a control resource set (CORESET) and the bit map indicates first symbol(s) of monitoring occasion(s) of the CORESET within a slot, and wherein a set of bit position indicates value one in the bit map. The network node is not allowed to transmit the signal such that an interval between two bit positions in the set in the bit map is smaller than a second duration.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example, a first user equipment (UE) may be configured with a first number of carriers corresponding to a maximum number of carriers that the first UE is able to use concurrently and/or transmit on concurrently. The first UE may receive a plurality of sidelink transmissions on a plurality of carriers. The first UE may derive a plurality of slots for transmitting Physical Sidelink Feedback Channels (PSFCHs) based upon resources associated with the plurality of sidelink transmissions. Responsive to determining that a number of carriers of a second plurality of carriers associated with derived transmissions of the PSFCHs exceeds the first number of carriers, the first UE may prioritize one or more PSFCHs of the PSFCHs based upon a rule. The plurality of slots for transmitting the PSFCHs may be at least partially overlapped in the time domain.

In addition, the method includes the first device using the sidelink feedback resource to transmit a feedback in response to the sidelink transmission to the second device.

The method also includes the network configuring the UE with a second monitoring occasion for indicating slot format indication (SFI) in the second DL BWP by indicating a second slot offset, and a second slot periodicity, wherein the network is not allowed to indicate the second slot offset and the second slot periodicity such that a time period containing a number of consecutive slots associated with a slot format in the combination of slot formats indicated by a SFI index in the second monitoring occasion does not align slot boundary of a slot with the first SCS, and wherein the number is the ratio of the second SCS to the first SCS.
