The methods include receiving a program signal of a program content and supplementary content which is associated thereto, combining the supplementary content with the program signal to form a data-augmented signal which is subsequently modulated with a carrier signal for broadcasting to conventional broadcast receivers. At the receiver, the supplementary content is recovered and delivered to the electronic devices at substantially the same time as the program content is rendered at the receivers.

    摘要: Initial set up of replication from the data storage of a primary server to the data storage of a secondary server is achieved in a fast and efficient manner that is transparent to the database servers. This is achieved by using external utilities to backup and restore for a high availability data replication set up. Data transfer can be achieved by mirroring the database storage of the primary server to an external storage during the normal operation of the server. Then transfer to the data storage of the secondary server can be carried out without disrupting the operation of the primary server. Another alternative is to transfer files directly from the primary server database storage to the secondary. After transfer, the servers are then ready for synchronization.

    摘要: A bulk extrusion polymerization process to derive an aliphatic polyester from a suitable ester monomer, preferably .epsilon.-caprolactone. Novel reaction formulations containing less than 100 ppm water and having an acid value less than 0.5 mg KOH/g and preferably less than 0.2 mg KOH/g enable the polymerization of bulk monomer in an extruder in a resident time of less than 2 minutes. Different catalyst and initiator systems, processing protocols, and screw configurations lead to the preferred manufacture of poly(.epsilon.-caprolactone) polymer of number average molecular weight, M.sub.n, greater than 100,000. A novel poly(.epsilon.-caprolactone) intermediate optionally grafted to starch, is described which has significantly different processing and use characteristics as compared to a straight-chain polycaprolactone.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for facilitating inter-cell connections, such as during a forward handover or radio link failure (RLF), are disclosed. A user terminal such as a UE may store identity information associated with a source cell, and use this information in accessing target or other cells subsequent to radio link failure so as to facilitate access to context information of the user terminal. A base station may be configured to improve handover performance by associating context information with a newly assigned terminal identity. Handover performance may be enhanced by facilitating connection processing in the event of inability to retrieve user terminal context from a source cell.
