    摘要: A stacked piezoelectric device 1 includes a ceramic laminate 15 formed by laminating a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers 11 and a plurality of inner electrode layers 13 and 14 alternately and a pair of side electrodes 17 and 18 formed on side surfaces thereof. The inner electrode layers 13 and 14 are connected electrically to either of the side electrodes. The ceramic laminate 15 has absorbing portions 12 formed in slit-like areas recessed inwardly from the side surfaces thereof. The stress absorbing portions are easier to deform than the piezoelectric ceramic layers 11. Adjacent two of the inner electrode layers 13 and 14 interleaving the stress absorbing portion 12 therebetween are both connected electrically to the positive side electrode 17.

    摘要: A method of producing a laminated dielectric element of high quality, free of delamination. A method of producing a laminated dielectric element 1 by alternately laminating dielectric ceramic layers 12 and base metal electrode layers 13, comprising the steps of printing electrodes by applying a paste material for the base metal electrodes onto the surfaces of at least one side of the ceramic green sheets, laminating and press-adhering the ceramic green sheets to fabricate a laminate thereof, dewaxing the laminate, reducing the electrodes to form base metal electrode layers by heating the laminate while flowing an atmospheric gas and by reducing the paste material for the base metal electrodes, and sintering the laminate. In the step of reducing the electrodes, the paste material for the base metal electrodes is so reduced that the amount of the base metal oxide remaining in the base metal electrode layers is not larger than 20% by weight and that the amount of lead liberated from the ceramic material is not larger than 30 atomic % within 5000 Å from the surfaces of the base metal electrode layers.

Preferably, a surface roughness Ra of the interface of the piezoelectric layer contacting the internal electrode layer is not more than 0.5 C (μm) wherein C is a thickness of the internal electrode layer in micrometers. The piezoelectric material constituting the piezoelectric layer preferably comprises PZT which is a Pb(Zr,Ti)O3-based oxide having a perovskite structure.

    摘要: In the present invention, two ultrasonic receivers are provided in common for plural input planes, and the plural input planes are restricted to a plane not perpendicular to a line connecting the two ultrasonic receivers, so that the sufficiently practicable coordinate input device can be provided. When the line connecting two ultrasonic receivers is perpendicular to the input plane, the distances from the input device to the two ultrasonic receivers exist in plural sets, so that the coordinates of an input device cannot be specified. Furthermore, in order to acquire the coordinates of the input device by the two ultrasonic receivers, a positional relations between the two ultrasonic receivers and the input planes are made initial setting in advance. When set in advance, it is possible to acquire the position of the input devices in the plural input planes from the distance from input device to two ultrasonic receivers.
