    摘要: Disclosed herein is a card adapter which can reliably isolate a slot provided in a personal computer and a card-shaped electronic device from a user. The card adapter 1 includes a chassis 10, a pair of conducting plates 70, 71 provided on the upper and lower sides of the chassis 10, and the like. The chassis 10 includes a pair of arms 17L, 17R, and the tip portions of the arms 17L, 17R are provided with a pair of insulating grip portions 18L, 18R, respectively, for insulating the pair of conducting plates 70, 71 from a user. According to such a structure, the card adapter 1 can prevent the possibility that static electricity charged in the body of a user is discharged to the slot or to the card-shaped electronic device connected to the card adapter 1 through conductive parts such as the conducting plates 70, 71 and the like so that electronic circuits provided in the card-shaped electronic device or in the slot are broken or damaged.

This electronic device includes a contact point unit having at least one contact point protruding from the surface of the casing of the device. This contact point unit includes a main body rotatable supported by a rotational axis extending from both side surfaces of the casing, and at least one contact point attached to the surface of the main body. The main body is rotatively moved so that the contact point moves from a contact point exposing position to a contact point accommodating position. When the contact point unit is not used, the main body of the contact point unit is rotatively moved so that the contact point is accommodated in the casing.

    摘要: An electrical connector has a main unit with and integral row of parallel connector pins. A first end of each connector pin is at a front of main unit and a second end is at a rear of main unit. Each parallel connector pin is bent downward toward the back so that they project downward from the bottom surface of main unit. A socket shield made from a thin plate surrounds the upper and lower surfaces and the two side surfaces of main unit. A pair of substrate fixing claws project downward from the sides of the lower surface at the rear of main unit. The socket shield also has an engagement piece projecting downward from the front region of the lower surface. The pair of substrate fixing claws and the engagement piece both engage the mounting substrate when the electrical connector is mounted on the mounting substrate.

    摘要: A hinge device is provided for pivoting a cover to a base housing and is designed such that when the cover is in a closed position it does not easily come off the base housing when subjected to external force yet the cover is easily and readily removable for replacement. The hinge device has an engagement hole 12c disposed on a housing 12 to pivotably support a cover 13 around a pivot axis, an engagement portion 13a is disposed on cover 13 to rotatably fit in the engagement hole and is formed relatively short so that it can easily disengage from engagement hole 12c when an impact is received. An arcuate guide groove 12d is formed on the housing around the engagement hole so that a guide pin 13b on the cover can engage with the guide groove to guide cover movement between open and closed positions as well as aid in absorbing impact forces acting on the cover when the cover is closed.

A cover member (160) which opens and closes by turning with a shaft section (161) at the center is pivotally supported on the connector main body (130), and the opening section (110) is covered with the cover member (160) from above. The cover member (160) is provided with a conductive skirt section (170) for covering the contact lead section (120b) from above in a closed state.

With this connector (100), a housing (110) has a concave container (110a) that accommodates an inserted camera module (200) in which a plurality of pads are disposed its bottom face. A contact (130) has: an arm (131) that projects from the bottom face of the container (110a) to the interior of the container (110a) and that elastically deforms; and, at the tip of the arm (131), a contact point part (133) that is swingable in the insertion direction of the camera module (200) by means of elastic deformation of the arm (131) and that contacts a pad. A shield cover (120) is attached to the housing (110) detachably covering the accommodating part (110a) and abuts on an upper face (211) of the camera module (200) urged in a direction opposite to the insertion direction by the arms (131) of the contacts (130), to sandwich the camera module (200) in combination with the contacts (130).
