摘要: A structure that positions rotating shafts and allows continuing transmission of rotary motion between shafts or shaft segments that are not aligned with one another or that may from time to time become misaligned. The invention reduces the undesirable effect of torque or torsional transients on rotary positioning and continued transmission of rotary motion, as well as reducing vibration resulting from linear or other angular displacement on either side of the joint. The structure comprises opposing outer and inner plates, each engaging a corresponding shaft or shaft segment. The plates define a plurality of holes that support flexible members. The flexible members extend through the plates on adjacent shafts or shaft segments around the shaft ends. Torque may be transmitted from one shaft to another by the flexible members.

摘要: In one aspect, a method and apparatus for formatting code coverage data generated by performing one or more code coverage tests on a program module derived from computer code is provided, including organizing the code coverage data in a hierarchy having a plurality of tables, each of the plurality of tables configured to store information at one of successive levels of refinement, and storing, in each of the plurality of tables, code coverage information indicative of code coverage at a respective one of the successive levels of refinement. In another aspect, a data structure for storing code coverage data is provided, the data structure comprising a plurality of tables organized in a hierarchy having a plurality of levels, each of the plurality of levels corresponding to a respective construct in the programming paradigm used to structure the code, wherein each of the plurality of tables comprises a first location configured to store code coverage information at the level in the hierarchy at which the table is located.

摘要: A scan tool is provided for automated remote data collection. The scan tool is provided to and executed at the customer site. The scan tool collects debug data, including, for example, configuration information, and sends the debug data to a customer service site. A comparison utility at the customer service site compares the debug data to a code level database, which holds valid code levels and their relationships. Historical and current data may be searched. Code levels may be updated and maintained in the code level database. The comparison utility presents mismatches, which may then be communicated back to the customer. If there are no mismatches, engineers may manually check the debug data for errors, which may also be communicated to the customer.

摘要: A folding utility cart for a providing a movable work platform which may be raised and lowered without the use of tools. The cart employs an upper support member that is spaced apart from a lower support member by a pair of cross braces. A biasing spring helps raise the upper support member into an elevated position, and a releasable lock secures the upper support member into the elevated position. A lock release disengages the upper support member from the elevated position. The cart also has a handle, support feet, and wheels, allowing use in a conventional manner.

摘要: A method of supporting distribution means, such as a pipeline, that accommodates temperature-induced expansion or contraction of the distribution means as well as unexpected, infrequent shocks to the structure, and provides effective thermal isolation of the distribution means from the surface on which the structure rests. The method includes arranging laterally spaced apart fixed bearing supports on a surface adjacent a path for distribution means and supporting elongated elastic members on the bearing supports at a distance spaced inwardly from the ends of the elastic members. Distribution means may be placed in association with the elastic members. Beginning from an equilibrium state, each elastic member is capable of bending in proportion to the magnitude of an additional load applied intermediate the ends of the elastic member, with the ends of each member sliding against the bearing members a distance also proportional to the magnitude of the additional load.
