    Abstract: Techniques for improved networking are provided. An indication that a mobile device is in a first region of a physical space is received, and one or more current exogenous factors are determined for the physical space. Positioning technique accuracy is predicted for each respective positioning technique of a plurality of positioning techniques by processing the indication of the first region and the one or more current exogenous factors using a machine learning model. A first positioning technique of the plurality of positioning techniques is selected based on the predicted positioning technique accuracies.

    Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose coordinating frequencies for an access point (AP). A corresponding method comprises evaluating a performance profile for the AP, the performance profile comprising a first part related to a first network generated by a first radio of the AP and a second part related to a second network generated by a second radio of the AP. The method also comprises selecting first channels on which the AP generates the first network based on the performance profile and spectral regrowth profiles for transmission power levels of the first radio. The method additionally comprises selecting second channels on which the AP generates the second network based at least in part on the performance profile and the spectral regrowth profiles. Furthermore, the method comprises enabling communications between a first set of devices on the first channels and enabling communications between a second set of devices on the second channels.

    Abstract: A method includes performing a first iteration of automated frequency coordination (AFC) using geospatial coordinates of a first access point at a site and a first margin of error to determine a first number of allowed channels for the first access point and performing a second iteration of AFC using the geospatial coordinates of the first access point and a second margin of error to determine a second number of allowed channels for the first access point. The first margin of error is lower than the second margin of error. The method also includes, in response to determining that a difference between the first number and the second number meets a threshold, instructing a second access point at the site to perform AFC using the second margin of error rather than the first margin of error.

    Abstract: Differentiated service in a federation-based access network is provided by receiving, with a request for access to a wireless network offering at least a two different service levels based on user identities, a set of user credentials from a User Equipment (UE); forwarding, for authentication, the set of user credentials to an identity provider in an identity federation with the wireless network, wherein the identity provider is independent from the wireless network; in response to determining that the set of user credentials indicate a realm known to be associated with a given service level, providing network access to the UE according to the given service level; and in response to determining that the given service level is not a highest service level in the wireless network, transmitting a list of preferred realms to the UE that are associated with higher service levels than the given service level.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a service associates a plurality of descriptive tags with a node in a network, based on an inspection of packets sent by the node that is performed by one or more sensors deployed to the network. The service identifies, based on the plurality of descriptive tags, data to be extracted from traffic of the node by an edge device located at an edge of the network. The service determines, based on the plurality of descriptive tags, an external destination to which the data should be sent by the edge device after extraction. The service sends a data pipeline configuration to the edge device, wherein the data pipeline configuration causes the edge device to extract the data from the traffic sent by the node and to send the data to the external destination.
