    摘要: A display device for displaying a predetermined color during an interval. The display device includes a plurality of pixels, each said pixel having at least two light emitting elements. Each light emitting element emits a corresponding color within the interval. Some of the light emitting elements of two adjacent said pixels are grouped into a first light emitting element group and the remaining light emitting elements of the two adjacent said pixels are grouped into a second light emitting element group. The first light emitting element group and the second light emitting element group are time-divisionally driven, one of the first and second light emitting element groups being driven within a given period, thereby displaying the predetermined color within the interval. The interval is one frame, and the one frame is divided into two subframes. The first and second light emitting element groups are time-sharingly driven in that the first light emitting element group is driven in one of the two subframes, and the second light emitting element group is driven in the other one of the two subframes.

    摘要: In a level shifter, first and second PMOS transistors are connected in series between first and second power sources for supplying first high level and low level voltages, respectively, and a capacitor is formed between a contact point of the first and second transistors and the second transistor's gate. A third PMOS transistor is diode-connected and connected between the first and second transistors' gates. When a second low level voltage is input to the first transistor's gate, a second high level voltage is output to the contact point according to an on resistance ratio of the first and second transistors. When a first high level voltage is input to the first transistor's gate, the second transistor is bootstrapped according to the voltage charged to the capacitor so that a first low level voltage is substantially output to the contact point. Since the level shifter outputs voltages substantially corresponding to voltages which the first and second power sources supply respectively, a range of the output voltage may be extended.

A driver applies a precharge voltage to a corresponding one of the data lines in response to a first control signal, and supplies the corresponding one of the data currents to the corresponding one of the data lines in response to a second control signal.

An emission control signal generating circuit of a flat panel display includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a plurality of EL elements, and emission of the elements is controlled by emission control signals. The circuit includes a first signal generating device for generating one of the emission control signals, and a plurality of second signal generating devices for generating other ones of the emission control signals using an output signal of the first signal generating device and an external control signal. The first signal generating device may include a shift register. Each of the plurality of second signal generating devices may include a NAND gate using the external signal and the external control signal, or an inverted signal thereof, as two inputs.
